Sorry I've been M.I.A. Things are super crazy in the TVGuide.com world and it's keeping me away from my beloved Sharkees. And now, I'm in L.A. for the Paley Festival and it's freakin' gorgeous outside! I can't believe I ever left this city... and then I hit traffic. There it is... now I remember. But I am soaking up as much sun as I can in between interviews and normal work. Basically, that means I'm still pasty and white.

So let's talk some TV. The best new show I've seen lately is ABC's hidden gem, Miss Guided. I love Judy Greer and her perky yet slightly frazzled-almost-desperate enthusiasm for her job as guidance counselor at her high school alma mater. She's grown out of her crippling nerd phase on the outside, but when her nemesis from high school returns to teach as well, the insecurities resurface... along with some feisty defiance and attitude that make her a lovable and relatable hero. She's crushin' on the hot Spanish teacher who used to (and should have stuck to) teach shop... he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he's hot, sweet, and fun... hmmm... sounds like the kind of guy most of us had crushes on in high school.

Oh yeah, Ashton Kutcher and Jamie Lynn Spears were guest stars on the second episode, and were perfectly cast. Did any of you watch Miss Guided? What did you think?
