Michael on April 5, asks: "What happened to the daughter, anyways? Is she still acting (she WAS in a Married With Children episode a few years later). What a cutie!"
Andrea Elson got married in 1993, had a daughter in 1997, and is currently retired from acting. (one can always hold out for the hope that she will return to acting)
Here is a 2000 article that mentions her (with a pic of her and her daughter):

What a stupid, stupid, stupid show this was. It was moronic. I had to watch it occasionally at a friend's house and thought I would wretch. Oh, what painful memories...
I just got season 3 on DVD a week ago but I haven't watched all the episodes yet. I didn't realize that the mom was kind of hot after reading it here and then seeing the shows again. Lynn is definitely pretty cute too. It is a wonder why she didn't go on to anything else.
I was Just watching Season 4 I think. Willie has a shrink come over for dinner to analyze ALF, after that ALF thinks he's a shrink. They never explained why the shrink knew about ALF. I thought that was weird.
ALF never jumped the shark in my book. It was just a fun show to watch. And it still makes me laugh over 20 years later.
To bad that the show did not get treated with respect when it was released on DVD.

Wait! Hold the phone! You're telling me that "ALF" was ONLY a sit-com? Dang it! I thought that it was a docudrama.
I think one of the writers for the show once said that it was pretty hard to sustain a series for 4 years with a storyline involving a puppet that only 4 or 5 people can know exist. Season one was a hoot, season two was good, but it really slid after that. Loved the two-parter where Alf thinks he's insurance salesman Wayne Schlagel. Couldn't stomach the one where he hosts the Tonight Show, or the one with the "You're the One That's Out Of This World" ***** (which he "wrote" for the Tanner's daughter, Lynn, after her failed relationship). Too gimmicky. The final episode was sad, because it was the end of a very unique series, but on the other hand, it was putting this show out of it's misery. Still like it, though. What happened to the daughter, anyways? Is she still acting (she WAS in a Married With Children episode a few years later). What a cutie!
funniest alf moment..the episode where alf, jake and lynn set up the hidden camera sting to expose the crooked auto repair shop. alf laments about the amount of crime on earth. lynn inquires as to the crime situation on melmac. alf replies.."all the criminals on melmac where caught by our #1 crimefighter-supercilious! he caught all of the criminals on melmac...but he was so darn smug about it.............
thats one of the funniest things i've ever heard on a sitcom

Thoght ALf was okay. At first I didn't like it at all. I kind of grew on me. But I'll say it was only an average show. Six1/2 out of ten.
Never jumped. It was silly fron Day One, but very well written and fun. It may still be my favorite show that I'm embarassed to admit I watched...
