Sky TV airs this show for people in the UK. But Sky also shows the first five episodes of the Beverly Hillbillies, and has been for the past three years.
The acting on this show is really awful; it's grade school level. The self-satisfied MC looks and sounds ridiculous, spouting drab and meaningless cliches over and over.
The show is a complete dud; it's the TV equivalent of eating sawdust.

These types of shows never actually did it for me, but at least this one was pretty hysterical, and as a Florida native, odd, given that it's true, they all seem to be from Pensacola or Orlando. That is neither here nor there, though. While I myself am no criminal, and I in no way stand behind those who would commit criminal activity, a traffic stop changed my attitude toward cops so drastically that I could no longer enjoy watching these idiots get caught. I guess my general dislike for cops after being mistreated and harassed after having done nothing wrong made me sympathize too much with these fools to enjoy the show anymore.
NEVER JUMPED! Liked the dumb law segments they'd show in between commercials, as well as the ridiculously funny newspaper articles ripped from somewhere near the back of your local newspaper. Best ADC moment was the standard bank robber steps into a bank demands money from the teller and writes the ransom note on the back of his checkbook. And how can a show jump the shark when they show a guy who's just held up a bank at gunpoint hiding in the local police station.
I liked it during the first season with Daniel Butler sitting in the trailer and showing both real clips and reenactments but when they switched to a news format and had fewer reenactments I soon lost interest.
I can offer a more personal angle on why this show wasted valuable air time: Shot in Nashville, this leaden turd was picked up in a maelstrom of pitching by the show's host, Dan Butler. Unfunny since conception, Mr. Butler decided to make a show about criminals and their various foibles. So what did he do? Obtain hilariously tragic footage of said "crimes"? Partially. Otherwise, he and other producers decided to RE-ENACT these crimes with actors (many of them my friends, who were quite appreciative of the paycheck). Why on Earth would watching actors replay these "dumb crimes" appeal to anyone with any semblance of imagination? Topping it all off, the re-enactments were directed (mostly by the black hole of talent, Butler) to play off like hee haw sketches. Sheesh - why is there any argument about this show being fish fodder?
They started showing the same clips every week. The show was junk anyway, but they could at least have made an effort to keep it new and exciting. The hosts sucked, but then again, all TV hosts nowadays suck. And what's up with the show? Is it cancelled or what? I haven't seen it in ages. It probably was such a bad show that no one noticed it was gone, not even the producers.
This show went bad when they started playing the same episodes every other time they aired. At the beginning the show was extremely funny and I always watched it, and now I've seen all the episodes. They need to start a new season and catch more dumb criminals.
Most of you who complain about how goofy the hosts and set is probably haven't seen the first few episodes. They were great. The host was dignified and just introduced the clips simply and quickly. When they decided "hey, our host looks and acts like a normal, respectable human being- LET'S PUT GLASSES ON HIM AND START MAKING HIM TELL INSANELY LAME JOKES!", the show stuck it's face in the shark tank and got it bitten off. They added an over-complicated set, quadrupled the amount of time they spent setting up the clips, and then added a co-host. If any of you have seen the days bg (Before the Glasses that they stuck on the host ) you probably know what I'm talking about.
There must be a lot of stupid criminals in Pensacola,Florida because when I watch this show, every other clip is from there. What's going on?
Usually, a format change instantly dooms any show, but ADC could have survived the switch to a news format... just not the transformation into a funny video show, complete with lousy jokes and an easily entertained audience that will laugh at them. Why, Paramount, why?! Oh wait, it's Paramount. It's obvious why.
This is a good show to watch, but the comments before the clips are shown blows the whole thing out of the water. They give the surprise away and not to mention the jokes are STUPID.
It was just plain stupidity from the start of the show. The hosts attitude insulted the intelligence of the viewers. He was rude and obnoxious. The show should have never been aired, who cares about criminals who were to stupid to realize that they were siphoning the wrong tank on a trailer and ending up with a mouth full of kaka.
I used to enjoy the crappy set, the crappy hosts (well, maybe not crappy but they made it very candidly and had fun doing it and it showed), the crappy everythingness of this show. You have funny stories, made in unbelievable re-enactments, all in a "reality-TV" sense. -- Then, they moved to a big studio, with a lot of money and everything. It became too Fox-like, it became yet another "America's Most Insert-Name-Here".
