Shark Bytes

I'm not especially into the spacecataz but I wasn't especially fond of Dr. Weird either I felt as if neither of them were/are really funny and they just sort of take away from the show. As for the show "losing its funny" it really hasn't it's just certain episdoes. Every season has the ones that make you wanna die from laughing and then the ones that you just sort of sit there and think wow that was dumb i just wasted fifteen minutes.

Honestly, talking fast-food garbage? Am I to believe my eyes? FANS of this pap? Come on people. I refuse to believe that my fellow man is this stupid.

Don't say "I don't get it." I get it. They're fast food leftovers. They've gone rotten. They talk. What's more to 'get'? The humor is nonexistent, and what's more this show heralded the beginning of truly bad 'adult' cartoons.

Let's take a look at that definition. "ADULT." Can you imagine anyone older than 13 actually laughing at this? Really? I guess all a show has to do to be called "Adult" is to have swearing and fat hairy naked guys in it.

If you're a fan of this show, I think you need your 'Adult' diaper changed.

Not funny. Not cool. God damn you ATHF, you ruined the cartoon network.

The second these new ones started. I love this show with a passion but these episodes are awful so I will go with Boost Mobile

The new ones make Assy Mcgee look like F'N Masterpiece Theater.

This is a truly great show that hasn't jumped the shark yet, but is approaching the tank. The show's failed to be consistently funny in the 4th and 5th seasons (The most recent good episode I've seen is Handbanana), and is really starting to lose steam.

Let's hope the writers can get their act together before they go over the shark.

First, I was a huge an ATHF fan as you could find. Seasons 1-4 were good, with season 4 slightly declining form previous seasons.

Then season 5 happened...

I honestly have no idea what season 5 is supposed to be. Instead of the back and forth insults between the ATHF crew and Carl, which were the funniest parts of the show, they decide on a show called Dickesode. Instead of with they settle for shock "humor". Did Tom "no talent" Green start writing for them?

Nothing else really needs to be said.

BTW, this show jumped the shark with the "Play All" gag on the season four DVD set. That proved that they cared less and less about the fans right there.

i dont think the show jumped.i think the last few seasons didnt go too well because of the focus of the movie-which i might add was really good.i havent got to see the new episodes yet but im hoping that they will still keep the same humor they got famous for.although i did notice the adult content getting heavier.

It's jumped. And it can't go any place but down further. It's gotten grisly and the jokes just aren't funny anymore. It's been on that decline for a while, but THE fateful episode was definitely Reedickyoulous. The moment a beheaded Shake happily jumped on the "gay zombie bus", the show became digested sharkfood.

The people who make this series changed their goal from how amusing they can be to how repulsive they can be. Too bad. Its prime was good while it lasted.

it definitely never jumped. a lot of people seem to dislike the more recent seasons i've enjoyed them a great deal. i seriously can't believe some people didn't think the handbanana episode was brilliant. everytime a friend of mine aqquiring a dog asks for name ideas i automatically now suggest "spaghetti". the movie didn't work out but that's because they attempted to stretch something that's brilliant in 15 minute installments across almost 2 hours. if they just made like 8 fifteen minute episodes and gave it a theatrical release we'd all be raving about it. the opening theme with mastodon as snackfoods interupting the other group of snacks was definitely the best part of it so kudos to everybody who's already made that point. i'm at work so i can't keep going back to check everything that's already been laid out by those before me.

Season 5. Good gawd what has happened to this show? It went from being a harmless, but funny, show with some very funny and memorable secondary characters (Mooninites & Plutonians!) to absolutely unfunny crude humor. It jumped the shark, made a U-turn jumped it again and then just for good measure it came back once more and dived headfirst into the shark tank.

I have been a strong fan of this show sense its birth on December 30th 2000. Alas I think that this show really jumped shark around episode 4 of season 4. Jokes about dicks and other stuff of that nature .

aqua teen is the best, but I do have to admit it changed alot since the 4th season started. It has gotten alot more gorrier and bloodier. Unlike many people I did think the 4th season was funny, but not as funny as the past episodes. Also I been having this on my mind for awhile and I want to talk about it. Haven't you noticed that the athf episodes have gone from a rating of TV14 to TVMA. Almost every episode in the new season has been rated MA. The creators have gotten a little carried away with the adult content. It's a little hard to believe that the 1st season episodes have gotten to the 4th and 5th season episodes. I bet many of you can care less of the rating and the adult content, but I just wanted to speak my mind. I don't blame some people for not liking the 4th season, but I thought it was pretty good.

Day one. What IS this?

ATHF has definitely jumped the shark. There has not been single good episode since the end of season 3. Season 4 was watchable and was occasionally funny, but season 5 has been awful so far. all the characters have changed. shake never f*cks with meatwad anymore. everything that made it great is gone now. Aqua teen used to be the best show on adult swim. I doubt it will ever return to its original greatness, but maybe they will wake up and realize what they have done, but i don't think they care anymore.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force is a really funny show. Sure it has its off episodes as does every show but it has not "jumped the shark" yet. This is the first time I've been to this site but I think I'll make it my last as it appears to be full of pompous tv "experts" that have nothing better to do then debate when a show is no longer good. Bye losers. Have fun!!!!!
