JTS when David serenaded Larissa. I was rolling my eyes during the entire segment. And when they showed it AGAIN, during the closing credits, I actually shuddered.
The movie Baby Boom was great. I loved Diane Keaton's character, but Kate Jackson couldn't fill her shoes. And I'm a Kate Jackson fan, but she wasn't right for this role. Once again, someone takes a good little movie and turns it into a bad little tv show. I think Baby Boom was scheduled for Wednesday's at 9:30pm on NBC, but they kept pre-empting the show. I guess NBC didn't like it either. Oh well, I guess the baby did go boom! Because this show was a bomb!
Does anyone remember this show based on the movie of the same name? If you don't, don't worry. It was never shown consistently--they premiere it in September 1988, then wait nearly two months to show it again, in November, and run it no more than 2 or 3 consecutive weeks until January 1989. Then it's gone. You could say it JTS from Day One.
