Good Eats is my favorite show and without question Barefoot Contessa is my second favorite.
Ina is really nice and quiet and isn't over the top like Rachael, Paula, Emeril or Guy. Granted, some of the story lines built around Ina's reason for cooking in each episode are a bit contrived, but their is something to be said for Ina who lets the food be the star of the show instead of having it be all about her.
I would like to see her expand her horizon a bit and get away from chicken and lemon zest and tarts.
She is indeed one of the few people left on the Food Network that makes it watchable.

Barefoot Contessa is a great show! Ina Garten has a very winning personality. Even though she is RICH- she seems like she would be fun to hang out with. And who would not want that house in tony East Hampton? She has an understated elegence in her cooking and lifestyle- very Jackie Onassis. I always feel great after watching her show!
