I missed how the show centered too much on Cory and Topanga and they added many characters while leaving out great ones like Mr.Turner, Minkus, Harley, Frankie, and Joey the Rat, one of my favorites.

also, I liked Mr.Turner and wanted him to stay. Also, they shouldn't have changed the character who played Morgan originally, she was hilarious.

This is, and always will be, one of my favorite tv shows.

However, I do believed it jumped the shark.

I found it really annoying how in season 7 they would only really focus on Corey and Topanga's problems and kind of ditch what made the show great in the first place, their friendships and scheming.

Also, I couldn't stand why they needed to make so incompetent. It was funny at times but they overdid themselves with that.

Never Jumped.

If anything, it got better and better.

It also has aged well, to me. I still watch it and love it just as much with every veiwing.

I laughed and cried with this show, and hope that someday the whole thing is put out on dvd.

once they got to college, it was game over. I know it had to happen sooner or later, but i reallt think the show should have ended when they graduated high school. There was no need to drag the show on for that long.

Now I do miss the show, and it was a great show. I'm just saying that once they got into college, they ran out of ideas for the show.

I think this show jumped the shark when it became ubiquitous on all of the cable channels. For a while it seemed like it was the only thing on Disney and ABC Family and it got annoying. I think all the characters - minues Topanga - developed quite naturally. Eric going from a cool, hip guy to a down and out, unfocused high school grad really isn't all that uncommon. He let everything go to his head and I think they had some episodes which really showed how he thought he was all that but really wasn't. I think after that he just got confused. Also, Cory went from the crazy best friend of Shawn to the whipped husband of Topanga. While there were times I wanted to kill Topanga for stepping all over Cory his personality didn't change much. Shawn was always stepping all over him before Topanga did.

I'd say it jumped completely when eric became an idoit I could deal with some of the other stuff but once that happend it just lost the spark. I mean really from intellegent but unmotivated to "just stupid" was horrible...but funny, still it wasn't good. Um an an comment made by Glenda below makes me mad, it was very sexist towards men (Surprise that's possible!)...Topanga's change also amade me angry. I'm not saying it's alright for a guy to be rude and/or abusive to women, but that doesn't make it alright for women to be rude and abusive to guys. Really just cause a guy has a little freedom doesn't make him abusive and equal rights from women not better rights. It's not right that Cory became a wimp who must fear Topanga! Really If I ever started dateing someone only to discover they are rude and demanding I think I'd break up with them not go on to marry them! I liked Topanga when she was wierd or as I liked to say had alot of fun quirks.

Liked this show, but I could not stand Topanga! She was always up in Cory's face over everything he did and told him what to do all the time. In all honesty, if she were my girlfriend, I'd want to cheat on her. She was just too damn bossy!

Never jumped. Loved when Eric became even dumber, he was so funny and massive props to Will Friedle for making that character so effing hilarious. Hated when Cory got whiny and Shawn got all down and out.. in the words of Mr Fe-he-he-he-heenay "get over yourself man"

oh.. hated Morgan, Angela and Rachel too. Eric was the best character in that. Check out the episode "Eric Hollywood" for some of his best moments

I liked that Topanga went from being an awkward pre-teen to a strong and confident young woman. And I loved when she bossed Cory around because first, he was way too free spirited and it is never good for a guy to be too free spirited, and also he spent more time around Shawn than with her. He was irresponsible and lazy, so he needed to have his butt kicked by Topanga. And I am all for women bossing men around. Because once a man sees he has any sense of control is when he becomes an abusive jerk!

Topanga went from being quirky and funny to being a casterating tyrant to got on Cory's back over every little thing. She wouldn't let him be his own person. Also how it was okay for her to kiss other boys, but not Cory. I guess for her, girls are allowed to be wild and free and guys are just supposed to be whipping posts.

The first season of the show was great. And maybe the 2nd season ( I am not sure if this is when Minkus disappears or if he was just in season one ). But then they made the character of eric over the top stupid and he was NEVER like that in the earlier seasons. Also if you watch season 1 corey's friend shawns' parents are married and living in a nice house/apartment( It hink this was the epidsode wher shawn put a stink bomb or something in a mailbox ). Then in the next season or two his parents are divorced, he has never met is mom, and is living in a trailer park.
Also Topanga was a great character when she was "weird" and then BAM she is all normal and it was like all that weirdness never happened. And on top of that when the boys go to middle school and befriend their two teachers ( i think shawn lived with the one for a while ) and there was also the two bullies. IT just spoiled the whole concept of the show.
THey replaced the origianl Morgan, not sure why, but she wasnt' really a major palyer so that wasn't too much of a downer.

eric was the best character on this show. he's so cute. i had- actually still have the biggest crush on him. I wish i knew him

It was a great show - until they went to college. Eric got ridiculously stupid, apparently Shawn had a long-lost brother, and it became the Cory and Topanga show.

this show was realy good untill about the 5th season. then it jumped big time.but i would like to see a reunion episode.
