Possibly an OK show but who is its audience? Generation Xers who liked SATC? Xers who rejected SATC? Young Boomers in the mommy wars? Xers in the mommy wars? It's not anything remotely like SATC and does not give me anything. At most I can sort of tolerate it. I'll probably keep watching because I do like shows set in NY but really, the whole chicks who work and have love life problems genre is seriously dead.
We're not very bright, Romeo? Hey Romeo, wheres Juliet, lol? Oh, I get it, you're in love with the galloping Ghost? Ok, hey, whatever floats your boat, not that theres anything wrong with it! I thought nacrophilia was illegal? But I think I can speak for the rest of the Juliet bashers when we say that shes bringing this show down to an almost unwatchable level,,but as long as you're happy with her, well, thats all that matters, yes?
Good show. I agree Lucy Liu (NOT Lui) needs more time. Not very bright viewers, though, judging from these postings.
My kids saw a commercial for this, and as soon as they showed the Juliet character, they screamed "Its a GagagaGHOST!", as they ran away in terror! ABC shouldnt be allowed to show those spots before 10 PM, since most kids will have the same reaction once they see that "pasty"-skinned creatin flashing across the screen! Please, FCC, have some mercy for the children of this country!
Hey Rptrman, thanx for the shout-out! However, DSM is light years better than this, and it will be back. I do like some aspects of CM, esp Caitlins lesbianisms, and not just cause I'm a guy who loves to see two hottie ladies getting together, but because its an interesting, FUNNY storyline! Lucy Lui shouldnt be pinned down to a bland level of backstory, either, since shes good enough to carry this if she had to. Francis O'Connor is allright, but once again, not enough there to sustain alot of screen time. Basically, dump "Whitey", and you got something to work with!
:::: I agree completely. Juliet looks as though she should be in a casket with that pasty white skin and her storyline is an absolute bore. This show should NOT be an hour; there just is not enough storyline. Makes me really miss Dirty, sexy, money and that show is a mess even with some great actors.
Juliet-Miranda Otto-does NOTHING for this show! She is pasty-skinned, but they seem to think shes the resident hottie, her acting is best described as wooden, and they spend WAYYY too much time on her character and lame-arsed storyline. Theres your show killer, which is why they cant show the last two of these crapisodes fast enough! To say shes the equivalent here of Miranda from SATC is an insult to Cynthia Nixon, and if anyone ever told me I'd be lauding her over anyone else, I'd have thought they were nuts!NEXT!!!
