This show jumped for me when Sara and Catherine laughed about some guy claiming he was raped by a woman.

I was angered especially by Sara who is so self righteous and serious when a woman is raped or even suspected to have been by a man.

The miniature killer sealed the deal and I haven't watched since.
I just wish Two and a Half Deaths had been, you know, funny.
The show jumped after the first couple of episodes with the miniature killer. That storyline was good for two, maybe three episodes at most. It became tedious, boring and way too painful to watch. I tuned out most of that season.
This show has it's day and I hope it draws to a close while it has some modicum of dignity left, before the episodes get any more weirder and campy (the episode with the Mythbuster cameo was pushing it, "Two and a Half Deaths" was quite terrible and Brown getting shot are signs that CSI is now in irreversable freefall).
wtf? how come +1000 votes for lady heather she is awesome.
was it just me or the last two eps of the season was pure CRAP?? csi always had good eps but it seemed as soon as the writers came back from strike they through some things together and called it done. WHATEVER. the way warrick died was so SORRY.come on! the car either should blown up or have the guy come over to HIS SIDE of the car and blow out his brains and see all the matter on the windsheild, now that would be true csi style.
The 'Mythbusters' cameo was borderline but 'Two and a Half Deaths' sealed it for me. CSI has JTS.
CSI remains one of my favorite shows, but one thing is not realistic. It makes you wonder why Las Vegas even needs a police dept. No need to have one, the CSI's solve everything.
Brass and company are around only to cuff the perps and provide backup in the interogation rooms.
it really made me mad when sara left but it pushed me over the edge with warrick's death cause he was one of my favorites
Crap. Just when I think it's safe to go back to watching CSI, the word comes out that Jorja Fox will be coming back to do a few shows this year. Now, I have nothing against Ms Fox, but I can't stand Sara Sidle, and the whole GSR story line makes me gag. I know I won't be tuning in for the new season.
I always considered the original CSI to be the best of the three. And I've always respected William Peterson and Marg Helgenberger. But of late it's been harder to watch: green blood, and the "blind" restaurant where diners, sitting in pitch blackness are handling foot-long skewers- just ridiculous! Grissom, while bedding down Sara Sidle, is out "role playing" with dominatrix Lady Heather (I guess Sara wanted no part of "the kinky stuff" with Grissom). Not only out of character for Grissom, but also Sidle (who would have dumped him on the spot upon learning he was messing around with Lady Heather). Instead, they just wrote her out of the show.
As for Catherine Willows, there's an old saying in show business: if you've got it, flaunt it! Sure, there's nothing realistic concerning the way that MOST of the female CSI's show up to the crime scenes: these shows all have male audiences. And there's a bunch of bon-bon devouring frustrated housewives out there that WISHED they looked as good in jeans as 50-year old Helgenberger....but I am forced to agree, Sidle acted more like an actual CSI than Willows. At least it's not like CSI: Miami, where they catch the crooks all by themselves!
These alphabet soup shows jumped the shark years ago. Has noone noticed they are all exactly the same? Someone should put them out of our misery.
The last couple of episodes of this last season were incredibly funny, but it's time for this show to ride off into the sunset. The Brass comment about jumping the shark was hilarious, and the Grissom response to it made it the perfect "inside joke". The show has been going downhill now for a while, but they still manage to put a nugget or two into each episode to make it worth watching.
I can't believe it about Warrick. Sarah needs to come back now. I hope they add charcters we can believe in. I should have killed Catherine. She is the one i don't like the most.
The show jumped when they did the whole GSR. Let's be real, they werent a match, it was not part of the personality that they had developed for him over the 6 seasons prior. And your right, they do dress marg like a high end whore sometimes, just to let the old guys get a thrill. It's on it's way downhill like a skier.
