I know, lol but there are a million cabs like that in NYC. I kind of wish lindsay would have gotten in the cab instead of Reed, and like use that to get her and Danny back together or something. I'm really ready for them to reconcile. They are so cute together. Maybe they will in season five.
Ciao.

Biscuit eater: Flack should immediately be investigated by Internal Affairs for not knowing what a late-model Ford Crown Victoria looks like, as it is the police car of choice in every major metropolitan area of the United States, including New York City, as are the cabs. As for "Reed", I kinda wished the Taxicab Killer had left him in the trunk (less hassle for Mac in the long run). Flack should borrow Danny's glasses. Other than that oversight (pun intended), CSI:New York's cast is far more believeable than CSI:Miami, though the episode with the hot female in the giant martini glass in Times Square was absolutely ridiculous.
To Avid fan: She doesn't deserve HIM!?!? Are you serious? HELLO?!? He cheated on her and treated her like crap and pushed her away, but yet, she doesn't deserve him?! You gotta be out of your mind. She loves him, and I think they should make her take him back just so the show can continue to have a little more personal drama. but if anything, he doesn't deserve her.
Yeah.. but not every cab runs over a curb when a cop is chasing after it. It didn't have tags or anything that Flack could use to describe it to Mac. At least they found the lunatic, and rescued Reed (:
Hold it now...Flack doesn't recognize a Ford Crown Victoria that nearly runs him over? So much for a cop's well-honed powers of observation...so they find the cab because of a leaky oil pan? In New York, I'd be willing to bet that maybe, perhaps more than two or three taxicabs have oil leaks at any given time...Oh well, it may strain credibility, but it beats watching Big Brother/Survivor-type nonsense. The writers may stretch it a bit, but at least they're not attempting to fob it off as reality...
The cast of NY seems like they actually like each other and work well together. The Miami cast is so disjointed, it's beyond ridiculous. That casting director needs to new career. NY has the most interesting characters. Vegas used to, but most of them seem to have gone off the deep end, and not in an interesting way. NY's characters are still interesting...albeit flawed. Danny cheating on Lindsay still feels wrong even if it is a flaw in character. I mean, hello, you were the pursuer!!
Anyway, despite how ridiculous the plots may be, or how unrealistic the police work is, the characters make this show great. There's not one I dislike.

This is the best sho i love it so much i watch it every wednsday also, i misses the taxi driver killer i cant wait to see it on on demand.
CSI NY has passed CSI Vegas because Det. Mac Taylor is the best thing on the show. There was a close call when they started giving these CSIs personal lives but that has been curbed. Please don't show Danny with "Montana" any more she doesn't deserve him. The cast works good together and the writing is fine. I only have a problem with the female characters wearing the sexiest outfits that can be found, it takes away from their performances, unless you want to do the same for the male characters.
