..DANGER THEATRE...I watched it when it originally aired back in 1993 while I was stationed at Fort Hood in Texas. It was a total laugh riot...the funniest show I have ever seen...especially THE SEARCHER! Just the best.A real obscure gem of comedy genius. Lucky I managed to tape some of them...BUT THIS SHOW REALLY NEEDS TO BE ON DVD! It was short lived, but had more laugh content than other shows that ran much longer. I NEED HELP! I AM SEARCHING FOR THE SEARCHER ON DVD! Imagine a "searcher Action figure along with his bike?! That would just be the cat's meow! ha ha!
Why haven't the powers that be released The Searcher on DVD? This was my favorite show, although it only lasted a hot minute. I know life isn't fair, but this is ridiculous!
And they have never released it on DVD/Video or anything!!
Everyone thought i was making it up as well.
Great series, bring it out on DVD!!

My Girlfriend and I used to watch this show in England. We loved Robert Vaughn, The Searcher and Hawaiian Punch but we must have been the only people in England to see it. Hmmmmmmmmm
I knew I remembered this show! Use to make me weak laughing. I couldn't even remeber the name of it. My husband thought I was making it up. Its taken me ages and ages but I've finally found it! So glad to know that I'm nto the only one who wishes there were more of them!
This show was great, and I agree with whoever said not too many people even remember it. There was one episode that was a take-off on Silence of the Lambs where a Hannibal Lecter type guy was going to eat Diedrich Bader! It was hilarious! I wish those shows would show up on reruns somewhere.
Never jumped. Wasn't on long enough. The Adam West segment I believe was called the "Tropical Punch Unit." His sidekick was Hamoki, give or take the spelling. Danger Theatre was a Laugh Riot.
This show didn't last more than a few weeks, and its too bad, because it was really funny. "The Searcher," with the pre-Drew Carey Show Diedrich Bader always getting horribly maimed while trying to find missing persons, was hilarious, as was "Hawaiian Punch," the Hawaii Five-O spoof with Adam West. Maybe a half-hour comedy show split into 2 seperate vignettes was too creative for FOX to deal with.
It never did. I still have the premiere of this show on a worn out tape (right after Married with Children). This show was hilarious and nobody knows what the hell im talking about when I mention it. Diedrich Bader is one of the funniest guys alive. Too bad he's only had one good role since, Office Space.
This was a truly hilarious show. Diedrich Bader is a comic genius. His ridiculously macho line readings sounded like a parody of Robert Stack and were hilarious all by themselves. Adam West was also extremely funny in the other segment, a spoof of "Hawaii Five-O". It's a shame "Danger Theatre" is so obscure as it ranks with "Police Squad" as a great TV comedy.
Never jumped! Perhaps one of the best comedy shows of the 90s. Robert Vaughn was the host of these tongue-in-cheek "danger" stories, and the best was "The Searcher" featuring Diedrich Bader as a man who found people who had vanished. Every line he read was SO overly dramatic! Wish the networks would have stayed with it more than a few months.
