this show sucks, somebody here said that Duble Dee and nazz are the only normal ones, too true, and i mean really, a typical episode: The eds are broke and poor, Ed says something stupid and random, and grosses out Double dee somehow, Eddy gets a plan to scam people, the other kids are playing, Kevin and Sarah have some smart remarks already, Kevin says 'dorks', Sarah cusses the Eds out, and beats them up, Jimmy plays with a baby barbie doll, then hyperventailates because a leaf fell in his hair. Nazz says something, and eddy falls in love with her, Rolf comes over and says something about his 'Nana', or livestock, Johnny just does something annoying, Ed says something random, or does something stuipd, and Eddy screams at him, and then the Eds just fu*k up, and somebady takes their money away. Then the Kankers come over, and 'make out' with them by attacking them, and by beating them up. how mature. and they fu*k up more. later Double Dee says some intellengent thing, Eddy is pi$$ed because they fu*ked up, and Ed says or does something random and stupid. THE END

this show is okay, but y do they always lose? i mean, even in the episodes where they don't scam anybody (like the one where ed gets the 2 jawbreakers in the mail, or the episode where they are paperboys?)

Never jumped, the plots are funny; Like the episode where EEnE get trapped in the flashbacks, or the 'Sky is falling' plot. The 'Season' seasons aren't bad, they did rouin the 'Endless summer plot', but I mean, how many shows have Winter, fall, and summer? Only things that kinda suck is that the Kanker sister's are mostly used as a plot device to end the episodes, and it's obvouis eddy will never win, but I guess it's funny to think as the Ed's as Tom, or Wil E.coyote, and the other kids as Jerry or Tweety or whatever. But is it just me or does everybody in this show seem to be crazy/rude/evil (besides Double Dee, Nazz, Johnny and Ed?)

Ed, Edd, and Eddy ROCKS! The last season when they were in school had its moments, but I still tuned in every day to watch. I look forward to buying all the DVD's. I have season 2, but I NEED the rest. long live Ed, Edd, and Eddy.

Am I the only one that hates that Ed, Edd, and Eddy lose in every episode?

Ed Edd n Eddy is decent. It's Cartoon violence makes Tom & Jerry look like Barney, and it has Gross out humor, half as bad as Ren and Stimpy, and almost every episode involves a scam, but most of the jokes are funny, and you can relate to everyone. Rumor has it there will be a Movie coming.

It was always so random even though you always knew there was a scam involved. Even the constant drone of Sarah's voice was never defeated with it's off-the-wall plots and memorable characters (I mean, come on, who doesn't know Johnny and Plank?)

Never jumped. Period.

Season 5 was not up-to-par with the rest of the series, and four or five episodes were outright terrible. But the season was decent, and still funny, and never contridictive or derivitive from the original work.

I think that adding school brings a new demention to things, and opened up a world of possiblities. To top it off, it was still largly funny (those 4-5 episodes nonwithstanding).

the fifth season was decent at best.
but i think it's ridiculous that Cartoon Network announced that this show was canceled TWICE and yet they brought it back anyway.

the previous season didn't seem to have the same magic that the first four did.

Ed, Edd, n' Eddy was Cartoon Networks longest running original cartoon. I really enjoyed this show, and enjoyed how it sort of lasted through the ages of the many cartoons that graced CN. I would agree it jumped the shark when they went back to school. It really flipped the whole premise behind the show.

Edd, Ed, and Eddy jumped the shark when CN nagged AKA cartoon to death about making another season (after already ending the show, officially, with "Take this Ed and Shove It" at the end of season 4.)

Season 5 (which take place during the school year, rather than summer) has its moments, but it just doesn't feel right.

Danny Antonucci obviously had fun with these characters, but you can't expect an artist to keep from evolving - and most of season 5 felt forced. That being said, The Christmas Special, "Cool hand Ed" and "Fist full of Eds" were great.

Look obviously I love cartoons and I've been trying to add this one to the jump list from day one! All the characters are sad and redundant. eddy, scheming annoying leader, edd, neurotic nerdy sidekick, ed, doofy comic relief. rolf, foreign guy, kevin, bully. Every character is just recycled crap, and the voices make them even more loathsome. I remember they did this short on the creator and he was saying the eds are the three sides of his personality, in that case he must be the most annoying, obnoxious non creative turd to ever produce a show on what was obviously someones lost bet.

why did it have to end it never jumped i miss the eds

Ed, Edd n Eddy went downhill during the last cul-de-sac only episodes, when all of the characters' traits became over-exaggerated. Eddy became an evil super-greedy Eric Cartman type, Edd became hyper-neurotic, Ed became even more weird and dumb than usual, and the other neighbor kids became too mean and cruel toward the Eds.

Then they decided to move to a school setting, with the 8-9 kids roaming around a large, empty school, which didn't really work and completely killed what little the show had left.
