The Fanelli Boys jumped when David Letterman kept mocking it. When NBC changed it's timeslot, Letterman said that now instead of NOT watching it at 8PM he could NOT watch it at 9PM.
Never jumped. This was a brilliant, funny, hilarious show. I still use some of the lines from it -- they will never go out of style. Yes, it was stereotypical, but the fact that it was made it funny. Didn't last long enough to jump.
Remember this horrible season-long NBC series from the early 90s which portrayed a stereotypically loud Italian family? Chris Meloni, now on L&O: SVU, was the "dumb" son and always wore tight jeans and a tank top. That's about the only thing I can say about this show.
