I dont know whats the appeal about season 8..i thought season 9 and 10 were much better (excpet TOW the sharks episode) my favourite would have to be season 2 and 10 its the best.

I dun wanna get out of topic alot, but the audience laughed when friends won the emmy (2002),if you're so desperate see it on youtube.

I think Friends is a great show, but I can see why some people don't like it, It really depends on what kind of humour you prefer. And if you like the comedy somewhat mixed with the drama, then friends is the way to go
Me Have Pony,
Since the list meisters don't tell us how they computed this, who knows?
See my post below for further confusion...

Btw, I don't get this, Friends is in the "HALL OF FAME" of never jumped but not in the most never jumped votes list is this like a technical error?
I just love this show, I still watch it on reruns.
And "Dave Nelson" gimme a break, you're actually taking the "emmy audience" as a reference? they hardly ever laugh at anything and that goes for almost every awards show, I remember when Seinfeld and everybody loves raymond won and nobody laughed.

This show was never funny. Lame writing, plots, etc. I remember when the show won an emmy - no one in the Emmy audience laughed at their clip!
Jamie Lynn,
Part of the issue is, on this site, they say one thing and do another. For example, to get into the "Never Jumped" category, the stated requirements are as follows:
An overwhelming majority of "Never Jumped" votes is required for safe passage here. And you've got to have more than a handful of total votes as well.
This is a very nebulous explanation, but if you use the most logical interpretation based on what the authors say, you would compute "overwhelming majority" as 'Never Jumped' votes/Total votes (as least that's how I'd figure it). When you do that, the percentages break down as follows for the top 5 shows (I figured this quickly so my math may be off):
Lost: 91%
Supernatural: 78%
Simpsons: 44%
House: 71%
Buffy: 49%
Friends, BTW, is at 44%.
Neither "The Simpsons" nor "Buffy" has an "overwhelming majority" (and neither does "Friends," for that matter).
However, clearly the list managers are only calculating total "Never Jumped" votes when they assemble the list (saying one thing & doing another); if that's the criteria, then "Friends" should, as you pointed out, be included (even though I personally think the show sucks).

Does anyone think that it's dumb that "The Wonder Years" is in the Never Jumped category with only 2378 overall and 1533 never jumped votes, when Friends has 6072 overall and 2677 never jumped. Even with M*A*S*H, which I agree should be in the Never Jumped category but not based on the data from this site, not even close to the majority voted never jumped. I just sent an email to them asking them to fix this error, or at least put it in the I Do category with Monica and Chandler because that is the second choice for us. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this.
I agree that Rachel was selfish and self-absorbed in the first lets say...4 seasons, but she got much more mature in later seasons..she did alot of wonferful things for her friends
"but didn't decide to be together immediately, even though they at least somewhat liked each other, selfish"
How is that selfish? according to the plot things got very complicated,if you don't remember Ross offered Rachel that they would start dating again, but he got mad when he found out that Rachel "said yes" to Joey..and by the way don't judge Courteney Cox from her attitude in interviews, she mentioned a couple of times that she gets nervous at interviews if that's what you mean that she makes a man miserable

Whenever I turn on the show if I notice that they are all tan, I turn it off, because those episodes aren't that great. Phoebe was the best on the show. Monica neutered Chandler when they got together. Monica was funny at times, but in real life a man would be miserable with her. Rachel was self-centered, Joey was too dumb and slutty, and Ross was too wimpy. The show was best when they were all just "friends" as the title says. They all just got too old and did not seem to mature that quickly. Also the worst plotline was when Ross and Rachel had the baby, but didn't decide to be together immediately, even though they at least somewhat liked each other, selfish.
