I really enjoyed the show and watched it every week in Stowe Vermont. I actually thought it was supposed to dipict Show Low AZ and had that in my head until today when I looked it up.
I was at an event last night and mentioned the show to someone from Show Low AZ who hadn't heard about it. I live in Flagstaff, AZ now.

Harts of the West was somewhat like Green Acres - slightly surreal. The lingerie salesman from Chicago packed up his family and moved to Sholo, Wyoming to live out his lifelong dream of being a cowboy. When they arrived, the ranch was run-down and the city folks eccentric as heck. (The Sheriff was also the cook in the local greasy spoon and hated Canadians.) Did anybody else watch this show? I thought it was the best show on that season and it didn't even make it to the end of the year.
