I'd just like to say most people enjoy
Tommy and Jude and I don't they side tracked anything.
But what's important now is we try and save Instant Star because it is a great show and deserves to go on.

I had loved Instant Star all through the first season. I thought as the drama meandered through the whole Jommmy phase it was sidetracked from the true meaning which was the music. However, after Season 2 was finished I had founded out that it had quickly become my favorite season. Date With The Night had the absolute BEST season ending.
Now, heh, Season 3...I practically vomited when I saw the first two episodes. The show had quickly become Degrassi's drama-partner. The whole Hunter hook was the STUPIDEST thing the writer's could have written. It was ashame since season 2 had, as I said in my opinion, such a good cliff hanger.
Then again... Patsy was there to kind of bring Jude back to ground level... too bad she died.
Anyways, I'm looking forwards to Season 4 and hope that it picks up better than Season 3.
(P.S. I wish that they would have added what Mason said in the auditions to Jude during Season 2. About how music isn't just found in the streets of the city, but nature as well. I'm pretty sure it had something to do with the song Natural Disaster.)

One of the worst shows ever, and I never actually saw an episode--this is what I figured out from the ads for each episode, where they show you all you need to watch from a show or movie anyway.
I still remember one preview of an episode where all the kids at her school are sick of Jude (and rightfully so I thought) but apparently by the end of this episode she'd found a way to bully them into submission because in the next episode ad they were back to thinking she was the Bestest Thing Ever.

I think Instant Star jumped the shark after season 1. I loved how season one focused more on her music and each episode she wrote a new song. I feel like season 2 was boring and season 3 just wasn't the same show anymore.
Instant Star started sucking during the season premiere of season 3. it was just a bad episode. Once the show started to only focus on Jude's obsession with Tommy, it got really bad. It was so much better when it was about the music. Now its just about her stupid love affairs.
