Exit Stage Left...(Misty)
No more Brock
Day One
The Movie
Never Jumped

the first is definitely the best because of the three main characters(Ash, Misty and Brock). The Orange islnds were annoying as well because Tracy was useless. The Johto league was a relief because the original trio came back. I was appalled by May and Max because they were so annoying. most episodes by now focused on contests istead of battles. The same goes for dawn, although she is a little better because Max isn't there. Team Rocket was at first entertaining until i realized it was really repetitive, but the show wouldn't be same without them.
I have pretty much always hated Pokemon (the show), their games are alright but they are nothing to get totally addicted to. Having watched a few episodes, I can say that it jumped because every episode has the same story line. Sorry, as a show-this thing jumped on DAY ONE.
when I was a kid I liked the first season then it sucked I later found out there Japanese then I was trying to figure out why Misty is white and has red hair?
misty rocks and at the end of the pokemon movie girachi's wish machine may sings weird. [At the end of the movie) Plus Dawn is pointless. All she does is win contests and collects cute pokemon. She doesn't really do anything else. Misty should never have left. I hope she comes back later
Yeah, Max Paddington. It really boggles the mind that people could actually like a franchise because the games are good (gasp! No!) and not just because it's a japanese import. You just flushed all your credibility down the can by comparing Pokemon to dog fighting, along with the moral panic loonies who compare this to "roosterfighting" (JTS's filter won't let me use the official term). In dogfights and "roosterfights", the animals are out to KILL each other. In Pokemon, it's obvious to anyone who's actually WATCHED the show or PLAYED the game (instead of making up their own ideas of the franchise) that the pokemon just want to defeat each other, like two people in a wrestling match or a karate match. Comparing pokemon to dog/"rooster" fighting makes as much sense as comparing boxing/wrestling/karate/sumo/racing/etc to dog/"rooster" fighting.
And no, Max, I'm not into Pokemon because it's Japanese. I'm into Pokemon because the games are fun and the toys are fun. If I liked things just because they were Japanese, I wouldn't dislike Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon, and various other Japanese cartoons. (Not saying they suck, just saying I don't like them.) I love how you stereotype Pokemon fans as Nipponophiles. Please cure yourself of your ignorance, for your sake.

I'm sure anyone who likes this show is simultaneously wondering 'What's the big deal with Michael Vick?'
After all it's the same idea, train animals, gain their trust, and then make them brutally beat the living hell out of each other. Aaaawwww they're so cute! Let's make them fight!
My kid brother used to love this show back when he was young and impressionable, so of course I have the episode formula memorised.... Ash and Co meet some new pokemon, try to kidnap/fight it, meet its owner, discover they have some big problem that can be solved somehow by making their 'pokemon' fight, meanwhile Team Rocket is bumbling around in the background doing something retarded.
For a series designed specifically to sell poor-quality toys, it sure has alot of fans, which shocks and amases me.
Until I remember of course that the average pokemon fan, or anime fan in general, just loves everything japanese, and would probably eat a turd if they saw a japanese person pinch it out.

When Charizard wouldn't listen to Ash and cost him the Pokemon League. We had watched the show up to this point to see him succeed...and he didn't even make it far enough to cross the Elite Four. And then he leaves to collect more badges and pokemon and I'm sorry, but no.
He should've won. Leave Orange Islands and Johto for a new character, don't have Ash getting badges he doesn't need.

The show jumped when Tracy came in. He was a dork and could not fill the void left by Brock. Yes, Brock came back, but the damage had been done. When Misty got the boot and they kept replacing her with the female PCs from the games, you knew the show had hit a low point. Also, the heroes have gotten progressively stupider. Team Rocket's disguises are more transparent than ever, and now Ash and crew are actually falling for them! (Besides, they've been gonig after Ash for ten years. You think they would wisen up or stop chasing it.)
By the way, shouldn't Pikachu be a Level 100 by now? Why does he keep getting his tail handed to him by less experienced pokemon?
Oh, and the obivous: the voices suck, the plotline's are retarded, and the demographic gets younger every year (or I've gotten older), hence the mind numbingly bad plots and actors. They're not even trying anymore.

You know what? The people that create the Pokemon shows spend a hard time to make a series, that people will like. But it's just the other way around. They try to make the shows better, and if you guys don't like it,then whatever, like, why are you complaining, then? It's too bad that Misty left, and people are complaining even more! And you know what?BROCK NEVER LEFT!!!He's still in the shows that are playing now.If you don't like the shows, then e-mail Satoshi Tanjiri or something.
three words, man.
DIAMOND AND PEARL.
has there ever been a series that sucks monumentally more than pokemon diamond and pearl? man oh freakin' man!!! dawn is so annoying all the time, and you know they were just trying to create a replacement for misty who shouldn't have even left in the first place. i hated how brock was all of a sudden like, "no, you know what? i want to join you guys, let's have a super happy fun time!"
pikachu got too annoying, plus they made new pokemon every 2 seconds.
well, i showed my pokemon nerd-ness sufficiently, wouldn't you say?
