Personally I liked this show simply because it gave me something to watch while during my homework or just plain bored. Now don't get me wrong Reba is a wonderful singer/actress but her show wasn't all that. Her come here go away trips with BJ got me most of the times and i really enjoyed their conversations, but i honestly think it jumped the shark when BJ lost all that weight. She wasn't bubbly and bright to me anymore, still weird and funny to watch but her steam was gone and it no longer returned. And Van and Cheyenne played the stereotypical jock and cheerleader (or whatever she said she was in the first season). And honestly what was the point of Jake? He had no real story line and wasn't really "there" if that makes sense. Kiara was cool w/ me, and the dad was a total snooze. But somehow it all managed to work out just fine....
I think it jumped when Reba quit wearing shirts that showed off her great rack.
A note to grammar checkers: Please don't text that I left the s out of constantly or put who's and is together. I know it wasn't the proper thing to do. They were typos; I didn't check before I posted. So deeply sorry.
Fantasy about a divorced woman who's is contantly around her cluelessly insensitive ex-husband and dimwitted bohunkess of a wife who , by the way, was cheating with him on her. Then you have the dimwitted blonde beautiful daughter and her equally dimwitted husband, who throughout the whole run of the show are unable to move out and make it totally on their own. Next there's the sarcastic, bitchy daughter who is a copy of the mother, and the cute bowlheaded little son and the child of the dimwits that you rarely see. Of course, Reba takes care of everyone because Reba knows best. This is recycled Rosanne with yee-haw accents, and bits and pieces of other crappy sitcoms thrown in for good measure. Then on top of it is Reba howling and yowling,"I'm a Survivor." No, Reba. You are a victim of a bunch of freeloaders and morons. I don't want to see this scenario on Dr. Phil, and I don't want to see this s*** on a sitcom for the kazillionth time. Bye.
Van was very funny and a scream to watch. I did not like the stereotype white jock they made him out to be at first when the show came on. His parents needed a kick in their pants for disowning Van. They did show Van having a good heart and trying to do the right things while being a goof in the process.
I can't believe anyone didn't mention how incredibly stupid Van is.
To Meredith: Don't you care if people use proper grammar? You don't want 'em to sound like mo-rons, do you? Peace
Well, I'd just like to say to all of you grammar nazis out there, does it matter? Obviously they're not going to have everybody on the show speak as if they're college professors. Cheyenne didn't even GO to college. Neither did Van. They're all characters, and they all have personalities. It's not the best show out there, but ... I'm just sick of people dissing these kinds of things without looking through all of the reasons.
yew know i wuld love to meet reba im only 21 and i am married no kids but as i know life iz hard and ive learned a great deal from her life struggles. shes a great actor and singer i wish that they wuld get her show back on air already repeats r killin me. but i watch all the time n e wayz
How many times can the scriptwriters be grammatically wrong? They wrote for Barbra Jean to say, 'Things have changed between Brock and I since Henry was born.' You fools! It's 'changed between Brock and ME since Henry was born.' Try takin' the words 'Brock' and 'and'. You'll see I'm right. Peace.
I spotted another grammatical inaccuracy which caused 'Reba' to jump. The scriptwriters wrote for Cheyenne to say, '...Van and I bein' on food stamps.' It's 'Van and ME bein' on food stamps' you mo-rons, as Reba would say. Peace.
Another time 'Reba' JTSed was all the times that Cheyenne didn't use the 'not' contractions. She said 'do not', 'can not,' and maybe others. The scriptwriters could've used contractions on Cheyenne, and maybe should've. Peace.
Lookin' forward to seein' Van & Cheyenne's spinoff series. Maybe Reba'll make a guest appearance or 2. Peace.
First I feel sorry for the guy who slept with his sister... can't imagine how that feels.

As for the show... I love it... it just kills me that you never see Henry or Elizabeth. And I agree with mackenzie about the leaving Henry by himself. But the thing that really gets me about the kids is that we don't even see Elizabeth as it is and Cheyann and Van are about to have another child ... come on can they get completly out Reba's house first!
my only problem with this show is why the 2 little ones weren't featured as much. and when barbara jean went over to reba's (and brock was usually there 1st) who did she leave henry with? i don't recall them ever mentioning/hiring a nanny 4 him. do they just leave him alone? it's a great show otherwise, just wondering about the little ones.
