Never jumped. Jack Elam was hilarious. The rest of the cast, not so much. The episode about the "old junk Ford" was the best one. It turned out the "Ford" was a highly collectable Cord worth mega-bux.
I couldn't disagree more with the previous post. I remember "The Texas Wheelers" as a very funny, gentle and charming show. Mark Hamill was delightful in this show, as were Jack Elam and Gary Busey. It ran only eight episodes, but in this case the brevity of its life was no commentary whatever on its quality.
The Texas Wheelers was on ABC in the mid-1970s. It starred Denver Pyle, Mark Hamill, and Gary Busey. Not a bad cast? But it was terrible show that was country corny. Despite the enormous success of Star Wars, Hamill can't act his way out of a paper bag.
