I loved this show soo much . . . granted it hadn't developed too much yet, but the writting was witty and the characters, while still slightly one dimensional, had plenty of room for growth. Plots also need some help, it's true . . . but nothing that a few fresh ideas couldn't have rejuvinated. So sad it went away . . .cried for days
CSI had nothing on these guys when it came to fighting crime. You try being constantly in direct contact with the offenders, in disguise, and working hard to catch them with their pants down while yourself trying not to blow your own cover. (These guys weren't likely to pay attention to wedding rings or broken pinky toes. They battled crime at the source, not the lab. Translation: from the inside.) Grissom and Willows wouldn't last three seconds in that kind of environment. Too bad it turned out to be a snorefest.
My girlfriend made me watch this show until the episode where the bad guys make members of the team wear magical helmets that make them tell the truth, but the girl is able to defeat them but convincing herself a lie is the truth. I looked at the helmets, I looked at my girlfriend, I looked for the remote control and then I looked for a show that was not retarded.
This show was the coolest thing on in a while. The two main characters Jake and Alex where so damn cool. Grant show was a better CO then Oded Fedh but can't complain. Only major problem was when they stopped going UC and started doing CIA missions into jungles and shit. stick with the theme man. Also I felt they should have done more story arcs like Wiseguy used to do...tell a case over 4-8 episodes, flesh out the characters etc.
I love Oded Fehr. He's a gorgeous, splendid hunk of a man. And that, children, is the reason why I stopped watching this dreadful show. I put up with the first five episodes, but it was so bad, so trite, so poorly written, that I very much feared I'd come to hate it so much that poor Oded would have become a battlefield victim of my loathing. In other words, I'd hate the show so much, I'd come to hate him, too. And I didn't want that to happen, so I stopped watching this show altogether.
Fantastic, intelligent show from the first episode. Cancelled when we were finally getting to the meat of the characters. Cancel UC and make room in the Network schedules for "Baby Bob". The IQ of America drops a few points every day, doesn't it?
I don't care what the critics or overwhelming population says. This show kicks ass! It is all action. For a TV series I don't think the cinematic action could not get any better. There are no needless dialogs just non-stop drama and suspense. This is what an action show should be about. When I first tuned to the show I came into a middle of a gunfight and actually thought the movie "Heat" was playing. Ever since I was hooked. Then I heard it was going to be cancelled. I guess the majority is not ready for a weekly series of just plain excellent action.
Never, and never will, obviously. Stunning verisimilitude. Ideally the show goes 4 seasons and drifts off sublimely into the deepest recesses of the blue blue ocean...
I watched the first four episodes of the season and then lost interest. The plots were awful and there was a revolving door on characters. When i saw the promo the other week saying that Ted McGinley was guest starring I nearly peed myself. Then I hear all of a sudden the show is being cancelled. Ted didn't do it but he was the final nail in the coffin.
UC: Undercover is the best new show on television! It kicks ass! Vera Farmiga, William Forsythe, Jon Seda, Bruklin Harris, Jarrad Paul...the whole cast is incredibly talented, and UC has the coolest producer/creator/writer around in Shane Salerno. The man rocks!
This show jumped the shark, scaring the poor shark in the process, when Vera Farmiga's strangely kinked hair appears with Jon Seda's bad acting in some sort of disco scene. Like countless other poor enslaved women, however, I'm forced to continue watching this travesty so I can see Oded Fehr. To be fair, he and the rest of the cast are themselves prisoners to the bad lighting - maybe it's supposed to be "noir" looking, but it makes people look like hell. Could somebody please give Oded Fehr a real TV show so we can all stop watching this?
From the writter of "Armageddon." Need I say more? Okay, this show is dreadfully bad. Less fun than sticking your head in a blender.
Grant Show...dead? Oded Fehr...his replacement? What were the writers thinking to have killed off the only believable character on the show. As if that wasn't bad enough, they replaced him with an actor who starred in the Mummy movies! They should've killed off the annoying, chubby hit women. She's all ready to sleep with the undercover cop, but at the first sight of trouble she runs away screaming. She's not really a hit women, she's just a whore. They should also let the Carlos Cortez character and the UC cop he loves be together. That's a far more interesting storyline than the Jake character mentoring young juvenile delinquents.
The plots of this show aren't too good but I can't stop watching just to see Oded Fahe on there. What a good looking guy in those black shirts and pants with the gun. Mercy.
This show had so much promise, but unfortunately jumped by the second episode. Having a Villain as a permanent cast member (Sonny Walker) is only realistic when it comes to cartoons (Superman v. Lex Luthor) or when he is a confidential informant in this case Sonny is non of the above, two the story lines are so weak you wonder where the movie quality action they promised in every episode is. And the second episode I think totally jumped the shark with the last minute relationship between the girl and the boss that eventually died. It felt like they had some extra minutes which they needed to fill. This show is supposed to be up against the Practice you would think NBC would hire better writers who would put out quality material strong enough to capture an audience. It may be redeemed by better scripts but at the rate they are going highly unlikely
