Everyone is angry and disappointed at Wawa for her revelations of adultery in her new autobiography. But this moral transgression is minor to the bigger picture in that she is instrumental in our continuing, awful decline in standards and decency.

The show started as women expressing different views, presumably without a male butting in and scoffing at them. But guess what? They just do that to each other. It's a freak show and validates the opinion that many hold that women cannot work as a team because they constantly sabatoge each other.

Joy is old, and evidently did not get the word that women need to support each other in this difficult world.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck's nose was so far up Baba Wawa's ass on last Friday's show(5/9)that it nearly went through BW's mouth. Of course, virtually the entire hour was spent plugging Baba's 600 page tome(Ambition)about how she really is a serious journalist and how her enormous connections(her father, Lou Walters, owned the Latin Quarter, one of the biggest and most popular nightclubs in the entire country during its heyday, the 1940'S/1950'S) played no part in her multi-million dollar career. Baba is to journalism what White Castle is to the hamburger. I do have to admit though, that EH, in spite of having moronic political views, is getting hotter and hotter with each passing day.
Joy is the smartest one on the panel, lol. Joy impresses me as a wacko nut job who goes ballistic when someone doesn't agree with her. She makes statements about things that are way to complex for her to understand and she just winds up looking stupid. She is an obnoxious, opinionated know nothing. Barbara doesn't really realize it yet but she really showed her true character when she admitted having an affair with a married man. There is a scathing review of her book in the Wall St Journal this weekend, it pretty much sums her up. I was never a fan of Star Jones but I must say her statement in response to Barbaras book was great. Good for you Star. Don't take her high and mighty crap.
I use to be a fan of Whoopie Goldberg, but on this show she is a know-it-all who knows very little. And poor Sherri thinks the world is flat and that there are 11 amendments in the U.S. Constitution.
Elizabeth is a pain in the rear, she is always on her right wing soapbox. Joy is the smartest one on the panel.
I think its time for another firing.
These women are morons. Does anyone really care what their views are. Barbara Walters looks like a walking corpse. Go away already. Who the hell cares who she slept with. Looks like she'll stoop to any level to sell a book. I wouldn't read that piece of crap if someone gave it to me. Barbara Walters is very impressed with Barbara Walters.
Too much pandering, too much Barbara worship. Too much mutual admiration society. I usually tape the show and watch it at night. Today I rolled my eyes and turned it off - probably for good.
Bunch of cackling hens cross talking over each other.
I only enjoy the Hot Topics portion. Never was a fan of actors hawking their show or movie. I enjoy how the ladies interact but honestly, Whoopie really has got to stop treating Sheri (who, yes, can be a little naive) like a recalcitrant child. She gives her this look or admonishes her all the time. Like the Paula Abdul thing today. Treat her like a grown woman for goodness sake. If she tried that with Joy she'd get a blast. And what's with all the Hero Worship for Whoopie?
Does anyone know if ABC will pick up Days Of Our Lives when that soap's contract with NBC ends next year? DOOL would be a great replacement show for The View, which has lost its edge because the turnover rate is as high as the nearest McDonald's.

Additionally, DOOL would be part of ABC's lineup which already includes All My Children, One Life To Live and General Hospital--making The Alphabet Network the formidable competitor to CBS, since NBC wants to get out of the daytime programming business while FOX may look into experimentation.
I used to love this show when Meredith was still on. It was funny alot of times, but it was still smart and sincere. I even tolerated Joy's toxic man-hating fits and Star's diva antics because Meredith played peace-keeper. Then when Rosie took over and they hired Elizabeth, the show became TMZ material. Now, you had two resident man-haters in the group; Joy and Rosie. Then Rosie got into that on-air spat with Elizabeth, and it became like a freaking reality show! Now, Whoopi's on, and I thought maybe she'd play Meredith's role as peacekeeper...turns out she's just a know-it-all and plays right into the now relevent "I hate men" premise of the show. Then they got that Sherri idiot, and the show isn't anything like it used to be.
This show used to be so bad, it was funny. Now, it's just bad.

The spontaneous girl-on-girl makeout sessions!! Too gratutitous!! :(
Is that really Barbara Walters or are we getting into a weekend at Bernies territory
Barbara Walters is losing it, and it's painful to watch. Poor thing.
Joy needs to stop male bashing all the time.
