Poor Ted. He was a guest star on the Pilot Episode. The show was doomed from the start. 9 episodes made, only 6 aired. Being that Monday night was bowling night, never watched TV, unless I taped it and watched later, or Monday night football if my team (Steelers) were on. And that was at the bar next door to the bowling alley in those days (late 70's to early 90's. If I wasn't interested in the game on TV, they had a DJ and there was other entertainment. Apparently, yet an other of forgettable CBS comedies on Monday nights of that era. Advertised, but never watched.
This show was hilarious. The BEST. CBS was wrong for canceling this show and leaving a crappy show like Ladies Man on. And they wonder why they placed third among networks in 1999!
Actually, "Work With Me" was canceled after four episodes had aired. I liked the series, and I would hate to blame the talented regular cast for the show's demise, so I've decided to jump on the Ted McGinley bandwagon. He's as good a scapegoat as any... "THE MCGINLEY CURSE LIVES ON! BEWARE! BEWARE!"
