I just rented season one and wow (first disk only :(! I just could'nt believe I was back 19 almost 20 years! I was 13 agian and madley in love with Cody. I enjoyed every moment of the 4 episodes on that disk. TV was so much better then. As for what killed TYR? Well there were some less then smart epsidoes at the end...I dont know exact episode names but one for instance was the episode where there is a telegram? (the telegram will either help or hurt the north). The boy's decide to burn it. It was a very weak episode. You could kinda expect that that was the end there.
if you want season 2 and 3 join the Petition hundreds have all ready signed but we still need more

I loved this show & don't believe it ever "jumped the shark", but the show was also never the same after the 1st season. The cast changes, while not entirely bad, took some of the steam out of the show so to speak. The loss of Brett Cullen as U.S. Marshall Sam Cain was the hardest change for me to stomach when season two kicked off. Anthony Zerbe as Teaspoon Hunter, while a great character, was never convincing as a lawman like Brett Cullen. I also found Brett Cullen to be the best actor on the show & his character should have been developed more than it was. I continued watching the show, but felt & still feel the hole left by Brett Cullen's departure after season one was a big blow to the show. I liked the Noah Dixon character played excellently by Don Franklin & liked both Melissa Leo as Emma Shannon & Claire Wren as Rachel Dunne, but the gaping hole left by Sam Cain's "promotion" was never filled adequately. The death of Ike McSwain in season three was sad, but a good storyline nonetheless. I really missed the friendship of Ike & Buck after Ike was killed off though. The killing off of Noah Dixon in the series finale was not necessary. All in all I still enjoy watching all three seasons of the show & won't stop watching it.
I really really wish seasons 2 and 3 come out soon cause I LOVE this show!!!
I have season one and am looking for any encouraging information about seasons 2 and 3. I think as long as you take the show for what it was intended for (just plain 'ol fun western for the pre-teens at the time) it was a great show that I still love today. Sometimes people expect to much out of the simple.
Really need to get season 2 and 3 released! Can't leave the fans waiting like this.
I love this show, and want seasons 2 and 3 on DVD! I'll buy them, I swear!
I have been waiting a year an a half for seasons two and three to be released. I really want to have them I wish there is a way to get them. The put out all the other tv shows that did not do go why not this one?
This show jumped from day one. It wasn't a real western. It was just a politically correct soap opera set in the old west. Was Rosie O Donnell one of the writers?
This show had everything! Gun fighters, romance, comedy, action and great actors. I bought season 1 and I can't wait for the other 2 seasons, so please release them. Maybe sales were low because there wasn't much advertising. The fans are waiting..............
I love this show and don't think that it ever jumped. I really want the powers that be to release the rest of the series on DVD, I have the 1st season on DVD and I would love to have the rest of the series on DVD, I don't care if season 1 didn't sell well they can't keep the fans that really love the show hanging like this, all seasons of the show were great. I am huge fan of Lou and Kid, Ty Miller is cute. I love all the characters but those two were my favourite.

Never Jumped. But if Seasons 2 and 3 don't come out soon I'll have to change my opinion to "jumped"
LOVED this show!!!!

Adding Jesse James in Season 3 brought the show CLOSE to jumping the shark, but they managed to just avoid that.

Can't wait for the last 2 seasons to come out on DVD :)
Emma and Sam leaving. I really didn't like the lady who replaced Emma, although it was still watchable. After the guys finally realized that "Lou" was actually "Louise", I just couldn't watch anymore. It wasn't a bad show, it just didn't have a lot to keep it going or keep me interested. I think I stopped watching before Ike died, but it doesn't surprise me that he did die because that was just the way the writing for the show seemed to be going. Bad to worse.
