Moody's Point was terrible. It wasn't funny, it made NO sense, it was dumb to have a "show" inside a show and it was just plain scary. TERRIBLE ACTING, but only in Moody's Poin, IMO. I liked the rest of the show, but it was still never as good as All That.
I liked the show for a brief stint as a child (well, should I say 'as a child'? I still am, really. But I digress), but I soon realised that it was pretty terrible. I could watch an entire show without laughing once, and Amanda herself just plain got on my nerves. Usually, I'll look back on the shows I loved when I was younger and smile, but thinking about this one makes me grimace.
This show was quite funny sometimes, really annoying some other times, this show doesn't hold a candle to Keenan And Kel though.
The Survivor spoofs were hysterical.
It jumped with Moodys Point. I loved Amandas long legs and her belly in "hillbilly moment"

For posters.:: There's a preview button USE IT !! Or go back to school and learn to spell !
Day one. It was just an All That wannabe, with corny recycled jokes, like hillbilly knock knock crap, Moody Points (or whatever the hell it was called)with the whiny girl, and the guy that said stupid random crap, or that sleepover show with the little brother who loved the Goth girl with superpowers or whatever happened, the Girl that wanted to meet Amanda was probably the only funny thing in the whole show. Watch at own risk.
i like it when penople neck pinches the gurad when she steals the a from the set
I like all of john kassir's replacements. here is what I think of them-

mr.gullible- dead on
blockbister-dead on
____duper-dead on, but voice is incorrect.
Ofcourse the show was a little dumb, but I thought Amanda please getting into violent altercations with Amanda's body guard was hysterical!!!!
For the people who are saying that the show was "pointless" or "stupid"....
of course it was!
The Amanda Show was definitely one of the best shows on nick. Penelope Taynt, Totally Kyle, The Literals, Homework Hut, When Brady's Attack, the stupid things Amanda did... all of it... it was amazing.
It wasn't supposed to be deep or artsy of have hidden meanings.
As for Amanda, she actually has TALENT.
She's pretty, she's never in the tabloids for not keeping her legs closed, and she hasn't gone hollywood in any way. Lindsey Shaw (Moze from Ned's Declassified and Claire in Aliens in America) will probably be the same. Both of them have great timing and can actually act.

Twinkle, twinkle, little Amanda
its me, Penelope, your number one fanda.
Excclent Point Capitain Kennedy, and adults were Hanna barbera nd Famous Studios target audience, too, but don't forget that Eve Plumb and Rosie O'Donnnell (which one played Courntey's fat music teacher, by the way) stared and animation historian Dave Mackey has a site dedicated to Amanda. (Of course now, that's been growqing up everybody love sher, espeically since Hairspay came out. Sydney White, the next one with nher, was excellent to.. Good movies,.btw. Big Fat Liar to Sydney White.

Ironically, and sadly, Paramount/Viacom for legal reaosns rem, voed the YouTube Admanda Show videos (they were among he biggest attempts to poull content for copyrighted reasonbs)_ and one of the few THEATRICAL outfits along with IRONCIALLUY Disney and Sony not to have Amanda, Time Warner, thru WB, itself, proper,i "What a Girl Wantsa' and New Line, in "Hairspray", Univerasal in "Sydney White" and "Bigh Fat Liat" (bookend parts of her career as it were-what with BFL as her first and SW as Bynes's latest made!:)); Dreamworks (pre-Viacom, basically) with "She's the Man", and 20th Century Fox in "Robots" have hads the lovly Amanda (yes, though ther was that Charlotte's Web video feature than the aweful diesnged TV Rugbrats (SIC!!) showe where Amanda is maybe along with Debbie Reynolds the only remotely cflassy thing but that would be a cursory acheivement in the long run in their resumes, but these are not theatrical releases. Most ironic is no Amanda appearnace at Disney! In ANY venue!)
IMO the Hillbilly sketches were the worst, and when I was in the target audience of this show, I thought it was brilliant. I'm pretty sure I loved the Penelope sketches the most.
I loved the show when I was little and I still do. "The Girls Room" sketches always make me laugh because they're so dumb and pointless. Being a Monty Python fan has turned me off to anything deep and artsy in the comedy department.
Well, the show was just pretty bad, no matter which way you slice it. I'm not looking for something all artsy and deep...being a fan of The Three Stooges, Seinfeld and In Living Color prevents that.

But come on. The most popular sketch consisted of a hillbilly hitting another over the head with a random object, and then...nothing. That was the end of it. A three year old could write that.

By the way, for all you naysayers out there--I watched this show when I was still a kid myself. I thought the writing was lousy back then, too.

So yeah, this show jumped the shark from Day One.

By the way, Steve Carras: the Warner Bros. cartoons started out strictly for adults. They would show them in movie theaters before the big feature.

It's only when TV got popular that they started showing them on Saturday mornings, and even then, they had to censor them for the kiddies.
Hey, "somelittlegirl", dont' wrroy
Warner Bros.cartoons were for kids toothese days (they made showslike this) and I am 46 and find her characters amusing. Bugs Bunny was for kids and adults like him too, Family Guy likewise. The Andrews Sisters from WWII (you may hear them in movies of the era, they're big with kids) were for kids and adults loved them too even though their tunes were not for them!:)
My hair does NOT need ASIAGO flavor enchancer.
