I do remember this short lived comedy. I personally liked the show, although I enjoy Bea Arthur in about all she has done. Would love to see this come to DVD, although I know better.
Anyone remember this show? It was Bea Arthur's Americanized version of the British classic Fawlty Towers. John Cleese said he marveled at the fact that American TV execs were proud of the fact that they'd made an American version of his show by cutting out Basil Fawlty. That says all you need to know about the show! American TV has tried to remake Fawlty Towers three times--the other versions including Harvey Korman and Betty White as a bickering couple, and John Larroquette as another Americanized Fawlty--and every one had lasted a single season!
