The only persons on this show that I couldn't really stand are Kellita Smith's character(Bernie Mac's wife on the show) and Vanessa.

All of you whining about Bernie Mac being racist--get over yourselves. Funny is funny, and none of us is so important we can't laugh at ourselves. He didn't abuse those kids, just had the guts to teach discipline and right from wrong without the need to drug them for some silly ADHD diagnosis. God Bless you Bernie Mac--a lot of us miss you AND your humor.

Okay, I'm amazed that the reasons Bernie Mac Show jumped the shark haven't filled with "Death...Bernie Mac" yet...which usually happens when an actor or actress dies...I never minded the show but it sucks for his illness. Just watch...even though there prolly is a Death...Chef for South Park cuz of Isaac Hayes' death...the toll for that category will rise significantly also...

A good guy gone on but never forgotten. I think his show was great. I think it was wonderful to see a blackman do more than one thing in life. He brought a family show to life and that is great. He will be miss by his other friends especially the other comedians that he was on the road with.

Well underneath BERNIE MACK picture there is a miss print states that he died July 9,2008 and he died August 9,2008.

Actually, he died on August 9th 2008, from an inflammatory lung disease.

Bernie Mac died on Saturday, July 9. He was 50. May he rest in peace

The show jumped on Day One. Makes the failed Fox hit "Women in Prison" look like a Seinfeld in the making.

Let's see: reinforces stereotypes about harsh parenting practices in the Black community , completely unfunny scenarios and one-liners, obnoxious kids, talentless host (Mac), cloying, sticky-sweet sentiment ("baby girl"...yeech). Think that about sums it up?

Oh, and who did Mac think he was kidding with the "Listen up, America" shtick; did he mean the 1.8% of Americans actually watching him? This show was always a perennial also-ran in the ratings; even "The New Leave it to Beaver" would have had a decent opportunity to trump "Mac" in the ratings if the two shows went head to head.

Worst. Show. Ever.

Who cares? And who does he think he is addressing 'America'? Only the President gets to do that and his comedy is so incredibly lame he doesn't even deserve to be on the air, much less address the nation..

Damn it. This show was good. It sucked that Bernie Mac's Illness kept delaying the shows production until Fox Axed it.

The show's great. Never jumped. But they should (and could) have gotten much better actors to play the kids. No offense to them in particular.

I think the show is great and quite disappointed it ended.
