NEVER jumped the shark still hilarious after all these years, it's like one wacky, offbeat random show, where you don't know WHAT to expect, it's one late night show that's actually FUNNY!

I do miss the sound effects with the "welcome back my little(insert animal here)" coming back from the commercials, though.

But he manages to be funny all the way through, plus the animation with the cat at the end with "What Did We learn on the show tonight Craig?" absolutely brilliant way to close the show!

I never get tired of his impersonations and skits absolutely slide splitting especially the Murder She Wrote one "HASSS THERE BEEN A MURDERR???? XD

He's one crazy person! hehehe.
Repetition... EVERYONE does it, but Conan and Dave are the worst at it. Jay and Craig are not so bad Let's take a look

JAY
Takes a joke and runs with it and inserts it into a modern day joke years after it is news. Want another joke TODAY about Al Gore being fat? Want another joke TODAY about a jetBlue flight still on the ground? Same joke, but spread it around over time over several shows.

CONAN
Take a joke and run with it Monday. Repeat Tuesday. Repeat Wednesday. Repeat Thurday. Repeat Friday. Repeat next week. Repeat to death. See Horny Manatee as example.

DAVE
Take a joke and run with it. Repeat it a minute later. Repeat two minutes lter. Repeat after commercial break. Repeat a minute later. Use the same joke after the next commercial break.

CRAIG
His repetition may sometimes be approaching Conan and Dave with overused jokes (emails: (insert name) is one of those names that you don't know is a male or female) (Free candy!) but his other recurring jokes that repeat are still funny by themselves (Do we have a picture of Paul McCartney?) (Remind you of anyone?) (A and B - One is... and the other is...)

Yes, I'll admit that Craig's repetition is sometimes failing - but when some of it works and he takes off with those, he'll do the same with the ones that don't work as well. You'll like one and not the other. But Craig is definitely not the same as Conan or Dave. Hope that helps.
Really? The gay thing again? Craig is not gay. His accent and his being European jammed people's gaydar when he started the show and he just went with it. He's been serious (for a little while anyway) about the subject in his standup. He doesn't care what people do in private and feels comfortable joking about sex. Which is lucky for us because I think he's brilliant and funny as hell.
I agree with the post below mine (Greg), Craig needs to stop repeating the same unfunny schtick over and over. The "free candy" thing for example. It was funny the first few times he did it - the next 100+, not so much. They got rid of the one repetitive bit that I really liked - BRING BACK THE SOUND EFFECTS!

The constant gay innuendo gets old too. Why doesn't he quit hinting around that he likes to "bat for the other team" and just come out of the closet already.
I liked this show for about a month but became tired of the repetition. After a few weeks of him starting EVERY night's monolog with jokes about 'free candy' my ears could take it no more and I quit.
Craig is both Very Funny and Very Smart. I liked Conan, but his comedy seems infantile by comparison. When Fergo takes over for Dave, he's going to destroy Conan. Craig Ferguson is everything that Conan, the Harvard graduate , should be. A European high school drop out is SMARTER than a graduate of one of our finest American universities.
WE LOVE YOUR SHOW WATCH IT EVERY NIGHT ,LOVE WHEN YOU PLAY ANGELA ON YOUR SHOW ,HAS THER BEEN A MURDER!!!!! send email for onair, for show thanks the Porters
Just when you thought Craig was going to keep the mustache for the week and keep it as a running gag forever, HE SHAVED IT OFF FOR WED'S EPISODE! I watched the first 2 segments and there was no mention of the mustache. I'm impressed.

I remember when LaBamba shaved his mustache on Conan's show and they spent a week obsessing over it. Good for Craig for dropping it.
-The late night talkie who obsesses over one thing two nights running
-The funny comic who takes one thing and takes off with it and doesn't know when to stop

Remind you of anyone?

Is that Craig or is it Conan?

One's a late night comic who is funny, finds something funny and obsesses over it for the next few nights. The other is (someone complete this one for me)

Two nights in a row with Craig obsessing over the mustache and he's going into Conan territory with his obsession over it. It was funny when he first introduced it, but then ran with it over and over and over on Monday and again on Tuesday. Still funny, but there's a point when it gets to be too much.

Let's shave Craig's mustache so we can go back to laughing at Craig's comedy variety.
I dearly love Craig Ferguson. He's brilliant, witty, charming, hilarious and always puts his guests at ease so that you feel like you're sitting around having coffee and laughing with a bunch of great friends. He's the best on 'late night'. However, Dear Mr. Craig Ferguson, please oh please get rid of that sleazy moustache. :) Hopefully it's true and he'll shave it off after Vegas Week. It ruins his naughty/sexy/innocent seeming look.
Craig surpasses the other late night talk shows with such ease that it amazes me. Almost always funny and fresh, and what makes it so enjoyable to watch is that you can tell he's having fun with you. He can use the same joke over and over, and get away with it still being hysterical as the last time. Of course, he has his (rare) off days - this week, for example, something seems to be bugging him - but he'll almost always warn us before hand.

The only thing I think he could improve on is to not cut the interviews off so quickly - sometimes it seems to be in the middle of a conversation, and you can tell the person being interviewed is as shocked as you. But, all and all, he's very far from jumping the shark.
The only thing worse than Craig is the horrible theme music. (I use the word "music" loosely here.) That music makes me physically ill.
I absolutely love Craig, never get sick of him. His jokes are so original, and I love how he never jumps on the popular bandwagons. (I adored his entire monologue about why Britney Spears needs a break while every other comedian on the planet was making "Britney beat up a car with an umbrella" jokes) I do feel that he's seemed a little forced lately, and it looks like there have been certain limits put on the show? I miss his sound effects, and it seems as though he does too...
Interesting that Craig made a brief comedic mention on Th 5/8's show at the start of the second segment (or what was formerly the segment where Craig used the sound effects). "We no longer do the sound effects because it's not environmentally friendly" or something to that effect before moving on.

Oh well, RIP sound effects. It was a great bit while it lasted.

I guess it's been replaced by the daily email segment. Its good, but you can tell that Craig does not seem to want to do it on some nights.
Where are the sound effects???They've been gone since the thing in Washington last weekend. This stinks, his sounds kill me!
