I think this is a bad move. I am upset that a good show, better yet great show got taken off the air. Its this crap of "surviver" and "amenerican idol" and all those other minless inane so-called programs. But its the idiots who work for cbs that are ones to blame.
I can tell why "Shark" got cancelled: The addition of Leo Cutler (Kevin Pollak) taking Jessica Devlins' (Jeri Ryan) post as District Attorney by having Jesica lose the election near the end of the first season, without the headbutting between Jessica Devlin and Sebastian Stark (James Woods) when Jewssica was D.A. pretty much killed the show's potential, they could have given Jeri more screen time and kept her character as the Top Dog in the D.A.'s office. James Woods did marvelosuly as Stark, the wicked sense of humor. It would have been renewed if they didn't change leaders in the second season.
SHARK is 1 of the best shows on TV!! What idiots @ CBS decided to cancel it? BIG mistake on their part! CBS has the best line-up of any other station except for the stupid reality/talk shows. Those so-called reality shows r an insult to our inteligence! James Woods is terrific as Sebastion Stark, & Jeri Ryan is very good too. In fact all of the actors r great! CBS has a bunch of dunder heads running it!! BRING SHARK BACK!!!!!
Has our culture so declined that we are only able to dervive enjoyment from low IQ Reality shows? A show such as Shark temporarily gave me hope this was not entirely true but then it is canceled. I can't even find enough on my TIVO to record anymore.
I agree with the one above that says you move around the show and then can it. It's true. How are we supose to find it and watch it if without worning you change the day and the time. You did it 3 times I thought it was taken off each time that it moved. When I found it by trial and error... I had missed some shows. You have done this before with other shows that I liked and now I have very little shows to watch. Soon I will be reading my book every night. I don't like all these reality shows. Some of them are plain stupid.
I really miss the program, Shark. I thought the dynamic between Shark and his daughter was very real to actual life. Please work to have the show returned to the network. There is little enough to watch on TV that is entertaining - the reality shows are an insult. Your audience is smart enough to know they are not watchng the law as it is usually handled.
I am very disappointed that this show was cancelled. The shows they seem to favor are those "reality" types which are not the most entertaining. Can't CBS give this one a break? It was a good show.
As per usual: CBS has a show that's pretty good, move the time slot around, and then can it. I'm not going to sit here with a straight face and declare that SHARK was the best thing on television: it wasn't. But they had decent enough plots (sure, maybe not "legally realistic",but it's supposed to be entertaining). The cast was good and had no quarrel with anyone's performances. But CBS would rather spend one-third of that on things like Big Brother, The Amazing Race and Survivor...It seems that on almost every CBS show, they are killing off a character this year...why don't you just lower David Letterman's salary by a third? THAT would probably pay for a 13-episode run of SHARK...but CBS being CBS, we'll treated to the likes of-
BIG BROTHER 10: Morons vs. Mactors
SURVIVOR: Camp Topanga Canyon
Enough said.

The cretins who cancelled this show deserve the vast silence discending on network television.
Skipping a winning show around the week's calendar is a tried and tue way to throw off the viewer base and Voila! no one watches and the axe falls. Mismanagement in the extreme.
I enjoyed the show despite the loose connection with the real law (yes, I'm a lawyer) and even looser with litigation ethics. It's a TV show for heavens sake!
And now it is not and I intend to take retribution against the sponsors.

This show was always been a guilty pleasure. Don't watch it if you're into realism (trust me, the "law" depicted on the show is atrocious). But it was always fun to "veg out" on attractive people in wealthy LA locales. Let's face it, not everything has to be "The Wire." But after viewing last night's episode, I feel the cancellation was merited:
The beefcake investigator whose shirt seems to loose a button with each scene. A gratuitous lesbian kiss at the playboy mansion. DA's who sleep with material witnesses and don't get disbarred. DA's who do get disbarred, but only for a couple of weeks. The lifeless subplot about James Woods' daughter. This had to be the worst hour of television I've seen in a long time.

Are we now off to Las Vegas? Possibly a tie-in arc with Grissom and Co.?
With TV anything is possible and with Woods anything is watchable.

This is a great show with a wonderful cast that is well written. Would not miss a show and look forward to it each week.
I PERSONALLY LOVE THIS SHOW IT IS GREAT IN EVERY ASPECT AND IT GETS JUICER EACH SECOND I WATCH IT. THOSE WHO HATE ON THIS SHOW IF YOU THINK YOU CAN DO ANY BETTER WHY DON'T YOU WRITE TO THE PRODUCERS AND GIVE THEM A SCIRPT TO HAVE SO THAT THEY CAN PROTRAY WHAT YOU THE VIEWERS WANT. BUT I LOVE SHARK I LOVE JAMES WOODS I HAVE ALWAYS ADMIRED THE MAN. HE HAS STRONG CHARACTERISTCS IN WHATEVER ROLE HE PLAYS AND DOES A DARN GOOD JOB OF IT. JAMES WOODS RULE!!!
