It's not a REALITY SHOW. It's just a show. Paris Hilton herself admitted it: "Simple Life is a reality show and people might assume it's real. But it's fake. All reality shows are fake basically. When you have a camera on you, you are not going to act yourself," Hilton explained.

Paris is so rich and so spoiled, that she apparently doesn't even know what Wal-Mart is!!! There was an actual episode where she was like "What's Wal-Mart? Is that where you buy wall stuff?" Although I heard that she actually did know what WM was and chose to say she didn't. Which is dumb in the sense that her own joke backfired on her and just made her seem less intelligent and that it makes her sound like she's saying "I know what WM is, but I'm gonna say I don't so that blue collar families will know how rich and spoiled I am!"
Just because she has fame and fortune, that does not give her the right to be a little B@#$% to people!!!
She doesn't even know how to use a rake!!! She makes the working class look like fools!!! Some people say we should put her in the most dirty disgusting jail cell and have her clean it out with nothing but a bar of soap and toothbrush. Others say to have her gang raped in prison, but I think that would be a reward. You wanna know how to make her miserable out of her life? Put her in the same cell as Nicole Richie!!!

They were going to call it "Two Stupid Girls", but they feared that they would be sued for making the title a little too similar to "Two Stupid Dogs".

One of the worst shows I have ever seen. Really. Paris and Nicole are the dumbest women I have ever met. I don't know if their stupidity is fake or real. If it is real, may God help us all.

Don't know, don't care. But Jump the Shark JTS'd when they started accepting banner ads from Paris Hilton HERSELF. Its bad enough she has to advertice to maintain public awareness, but for JTS to accept such ads shows hod low a once great website has sunk. Shame on you JTS!

Jumped day one

There is such thing as change of heart. I gave this show a chance even though nobody cares for it. I liked it. It's far better than the garbage that I was raised on. How do you find Taxi, Newhart, The Odd Couple, Family Ties, or any beloved show of the past better than the Simple Life? I used to watch that Dick at Nite crap until just a few years ago. A lot of the stuff that I love like 70s electric piano (ala Taxi)and synths are not even there! That I love. Both are blondes, don't wear glasses, are NOT natural brunette beauties, and simply want attention. I am so sick of restricting myself to well performed shows of the 40s, 50, 60s, 70s, and 80s. Just because a show does not have soft, timeless music, slapstick comedy, remembered forever, or makes you have heart problems from laughing does not mean I can try it. With some will power and telling your soul to shut up, you can get through it. Paris isn't going away. I think if you give her a chance, she's far prettier than Gidget. Big, plump butts and boobs with the long, dark hair are long gone, thank God. I am glad the natural look is dead. As for making fun of someone's job, they should hurt and harass business professionals. They make their money by being: stuck up, well dressed (often in black), cry when they don't have their way, speak English out of the dictionary (even they are not from Illinois), have a beautiful, dark haired, plump wife, and a beautiful family. I would love to see Paris and Nicole ridcule somebody like that. I wanted to be an architect, accountant, a prosecutor, or a lawyer. It was really hard trying to become it. I felt like crap so despite my strict and manipulative parents, I relied on insulting people. Because of the way I raised and God manipulating me into an intelligent person, that would be great revenge for being myself.

This one jumped on day one. I never was a fan of the show. My wife watched it now and then.

I saw only one episode. Paris and Nikki went to work at a Sonic restaurant. They managed to screw up everything they tried to do that day. I worked in fast food as a teen. You did not get to move from job to job in one day. You certainly did not get to dress up in a mascot costume and did not get a paycheck the first day. The episode was really a long commercial for Sonic. That whole episode displays this as being a staged reality show.

Mark my words...These young ladies of entertainment will be washed up in a few years. Lindsay Lohan will be broke and wanted for income tax evasion like MC Hammer. Nicole Richie will go the same route. Paris is lucky to have been born into a family with a lot of concrete assets.

this was an entirely inappropriate show, a bad example of how we should behave!

Justice! The Simple Life was cancelled today. Five seasons later than it should have been, but better late than never, right?

And unconfirmed (probably suspect) internet reports have it that Paris Hilton has just been disinherited by her grandfather, Barron Hilton.

If true, that would be quite the two-fer!

Pleae join me in petitioning CBS, ABC, NBC and Fox to give Lindsey Lohan her own reality show.

Please, please, never let paris show her face again on the news, in magazines, she is a disgrace and has absolutely not one shred of talent in her body!! I am so incensed at the media!! This week with her "get out jail" publicity is simply an embarassment to all of the intellegent people in this country!!

I just received my subscription to People in the mail today and wanted to simply throw it in the garbage because of her being on the cover!! Come on People, don't you have higher standards??? If not, I think I will cancel my subscription. I am just sick of it!

Why would i want to watch a show about some little whore that always got what she cried for from mommy and daddy, and acts like a total retard?!?

That sex tape that "she didnt want out" was obviously out because she wanted people to know who she is, and watch her show.

Maybe when she stops acting like a bitch, grow up, and get a life, I might watch something with her on it, let alone this show

The show jumped the shark on that episode where Paris started sobbing and yelled "MOMMY, IT'S NOT FAIR!"
