I have to keep it real, I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS SHOW. I can see this show a million times and never get bored with it. I had beef with Kenny's character in the beginning season(s) because he seemed to be so "macho" and Maxine had to ask his permission if she even wanted to breathe. He cooled down though by the 4th to 5th season(s). Overall, Maxine was the strongest one and was my favorite. Bird was too immature for me and Terri would stick her nose up at people, but had no sense of who she really was.

i love the show!!!!! tht particular episode w/ the abortion was just real life. it wasnt contoversial millions of women go through it. bird is my favorite character and that made me love her more. its real life issues. they still had things to handle in their marriage. it was smart.

I just read that recently a release date was submitted for the Final Season of Soul Food DVD to be put on July 8th. i can't wait. My husband and i have enjoyed the Seasons 1-3.

Have seen Soul Food seasons 1-3. Is there going to be 4 & 5 on dvd and when?

I am extremely excited to know the third season of Soul Food will be out on Feb 5th. This is such a strong positive show! All of my friends and I are hooked on it. It is good to know there are a lot of loyal fans that have anticipated the new dvd. Hopefully this means we won't have to wait as long as we waited for season two to come out anymore.

Well guys, Paramount/Showtime has a planned Feb 5th Release of the Compete 3rd Season. They are deliberating whether they will release a combo of both 3rd and 4th seasons since either of them were half the length of Seasons 1 & 2. I personally cant wait. Ive already ran thru Season 1 a million times over, now I am done with Season 2. Im thirsty for more! I can sit in the house and watch that all damn day!

I have enjoyed Soul FOod Season 1&2. Pleasseeeeeeeeeeeeeese when will Season 3 be released. Why is it taking soooooooo long?

I was not able to view Soul Food at all when it was televised; however, I have been enjoyed watching the DVDs on my on time and now I'm hooked and cannot wait for all of the remaining Seasons. When, When, When can we all expect them???

I only have one question: When can I expect Season 3 and who do I talk to in order to get it out there quick. I am beyond hooked. I have season 1 & 2 and I watch them both over and over. I can't help but feel that I'm part of the family.

I Totally agree Shark. After watching seaon 2 I'm left wanting more.

I have a suggestion why not have the remaining seasons of soulfood come out like all the rest of the dvd series does one month after the other instead of making the fans wait so long
