I used to enjoy this show when it was age-appropriate for me, but there were always little things about it that bothered me — and would probably make it unwatchable now.
For one, I couldn't STAND that annoying little doppelganger of Amanda who was supposed to be her #1 fan... can't even remember the character's name, I've tried to block it from my memory.
Secondly, Amanda's voice just got on my nerves sometimes.... and I found that a lot of her characters sounded all the same. If you're gonna do a skit-style show with many different characters, might wanna choose a star who has a bit of range!

Title was in Star, don't have that copy by me but I have it, looked up Amanda on Google, Internet Movie Database reminded me, it is titled Living Proof. It is one of the onyl two non-comedic Amanda Bynes (a rarity!) approaches, (Nightmare room, or somehting, was an earlier one and she's not even a star in that one).... More of a kind of connection..Amanda was born to appear in anything sert in the eighties, in a kind of way as Debbie Gibson was the star then..and Amanda is the coutnerpart today, and looks a bit like her (okay, TAHT is a bit too far on my part.).
Aamanda's back, TONIGHT (Octobner 18), at 9:00 I think, set in late 1980s, forgot exact title.. and of course she played ME in "Hairspra" (2007).Ironically this new movie is set aorund the time that "Leslie Ann Powers" was the first to play me in the Rikki Lake (John Waters produced/Directed) "hairspray". Harry Connick Jr/.is the other star of this lieftime movie, whose title I forget..
This show sucked the only reason i watched was because she was hot and i was in early puberty. Thinking back she dressed extremely inappropriately for a girl her age then. I guess sex sells even if its children.
I thought the Amanda Show was really funny. Im a teenager, and I think its simplicity made it very good. They didn't have to try so hard to make it funny like alot of tv shows do now. I miss the Amanda Show! I think she is very talanted, she is my favorite actress!
Moody's Point was terrible. It wasn't funny, it made NO sense, it was dumb to have a "show" inside a show and it was just plain scary. TERRIBLE ACTING, but only in Moody's Poin, IMO. I liked the rest of the show, but it was still never as good as All That.
I liked the show for a brief stint as a child (well, should I say 'as a child'? I still am, really. But I digress), but I soon realised that it was pretty terrible. I could watch an entire show without laughing once, and Amanda herself just plain got on my nerves. Usually, I'll look back on the shows I loved when I was younger and smile, but thinking about this one makes me grimace.
This show was quite funny sometimes, really annoying some other times, this show doesn't hold a candle to Keenan And Kel though.
The Survivor spoofs were hysterical.

It jumped with Moodys Point. I loved Amandas long legs and her belly in "hillbilly moment"

Day one. It was just an All That wannabe, with corny recycled jokes, like hillbilly knock knock crap, Moody Points (or whatever the hell it was called)with the whiny girl, and the guy that said stupid random crap, or that sleepover show with the little brother who loved the Goth girl with superpowers or whatever happened, the Girl that wanted to meet Amanda was probably the only funny thing in the whole show. Watch at own risk.
