i miss all the old nick shows like caitlin's way, dont look under the bed, are you afraid of the dark, stuff like that. they should bring those back have week for throw bacl shows or something! nd to bad if u didnt like some of those shows, there enough other crap on the tv now so watch that. nick shoul bring these shows back for a while! i miss them!! i hate watchin it now cus theres all these new stupid shows on. please help bring them back!! =]

I sorry but mister puritanical up there needs to get a grip there is nothing wrong with Caitlin's Way.
Nickelodeon is a rare channel that goes not only for kids but teenager too. And it can sometime come up with show that transcend that. Other channels can do that certain not Disney Channel!!!!!
If you want to go watch Barney with you grownass go do it. I personal can not stand those watered down show with no substance and no soul. These new shows that children have the brains the size of knat flies.

Caitlin is like a real person. They should know about real life. Your the kind of person who waits until there kids are fifteen to tell them santa isn't real!!!!
A bunch of lame cartoons and god-awful live action series ie Declassified,Zoey 101 and god help me Drake and Josh the shitbaby of the terrible Amanda Show.

Though I don't watch the show religiously, I really think it jumped the shark when Caitlyn stopped being a tough girl and turned into a simpering, attention-craving, drooling-over-boys girl. In other words, she became exactly like everybody else on the show and there really wasn't a reason for the show anymore. I thought this was about her conflict with people who don't accept her for the jerk she is. It brings to mind that stupid episode where she can't play soccer because that's what she was doing when her mom died. (Can anyone else say... uh?)

This is definitely the worst show they had in 2000 for Nickelodeon. It was the moment on how much of this has to put up with annoying advertising on this channel and enough for a disaster area. This is the kind of show that shouldn't have came to this network and sadly Thomas Lynch (the creator of The Secret World of Aleck Mack and The Journey of Allen Strange, grandson of David Lynch) should be a shame of himself. The worst part is they now air reruns on Noggin/The N. As far as that channel goes, they should add Salute Your Shorts over this lousy show. Day One indeed!

Ok, I was fine with the concept at first. I figured Caitlin was gonna be kinda like a female Fonzie, you know? Dresses like the stereotypical bad kid, but has her heart in the right place. After the first few minutes, I realized I was wrong. Then I figured, well the show must be about going about things in your own way and doing what you want, and how sometimes that's what's best. Turns out I was wrong again. This show seems to only convey to children that adults are right 100% of the time, free thought and creativity (Caitlin's wardrobe) are bad, and that if you are in danger, magically available horses will come to your aid.

This show stunk from day 1. I like Caitlin's character, but every other character in that show is so stupid. That Griffin or whatever his name is, he is such a loser. The only good actor on that show is the girl that plays Caitlin. I am surprised that this is still running.

Being a pervert is one thing, but watching Nickelodeon to try to get yourself off is another. Maybe you should rent a porno or something if you watching this and thinking about how you'd like to screw Caitlin. It's a frickin' kid's network. Jesus.

What kind of disgusting loser perverts sit and watch NICKELODEON to get a little action, hmm? The show's got a great concept, but come on now. At least we know what YOU'RE thinking about, eh? If you're jonesin for a little action, maybe you should look elsewhere than the kiddy network.

THIS IS A MESSED UP SHOW! Why the HELL is this show on Nick?!?!?! I saw only one episode of it and was totally PISSED! In this show Catlin, the no good sterotyped street rat, is sent to her aunts house, to Some Red Neck town, in order to escape Juvey. I saw a show where she convinces Her Cousin to steal a, of all things, a Plastic monster hand from a Movie display because he didn't get the Ushering job. Now this ties in because he's best friend gets the job. Griffin's ,or what ever his name is, dad is the sheriff and Gets a call about a theft at the movie theater. Griffin is Terrified and wants to turn himself in. Catlin says no "she can never get caught or the send her to jail" and says they should go to the Movie theater and bring it back. They sneak out Break into the Movie theater and almost get caught. They run from the Night Watchman and make it home safely. The episode ends with Griffin Chasing after Catlin Trying to touch her......Hair. THIS SHOW IS MEANT FOR CHILDREN!?!?!?!?!?!? Nickelodeon GET YOUR F**KING ACT TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!! IN CASE YOU DID NOT KNOW CHILDREN WATCH YOU NETWORK AND ARE LEARNING THIS KIND OF BULL SHIT ! [Sorry for the swearing but had to get my point across !] Thanks for reading

Another piece of feminist wish fulfillment pushed on us as a show about a girl who has her ideas and is "strong" and does things her own way, thus the name of the show Caitilan's Way. It would be better if Caitilin was a lady, at least a decent person. But these days kids shows especially with a girl in the lead must be politically motivated or else it would work for the liberal feminists who watch the show. For everybody else it is day one shark meat. Nick has had a lot of shows like these,Clarissa,Alex Mack,Shelby Woo,I wish they would go back to programming aimed at girls AND boys and stop the PC crap.

I agree with the above poster. Caitlin's lack of tact may be bad but she is certainly not lacking in the task of filling out her t-shirts. Can we say "the globes that make the show go round?"
