I don't care what everyone else says!!! This show is AWESOME!!! Anyone who doens't agree with me... go jump off a cliff or something. CatDog were and still are a good pair, and anYone who says that this show is boring and sucked, check your pulse cause you might be dead. If that's not the case... GET A SENSE OF HUMOR!!! I know that most of the people that are byting this crap are adults. Hell, I'm a teenager at the age of 17. All you adults for God's sake get mature! This is a kids' show! Since when were kids' shows supposed to make sense to anyone? The only thing that mattered is that it was funny and cool... for KIDS!!!

THIS SHOW WAS TERRIBLE. A WIMPY, PANSY, CAT "CONNECTED"(HOW DOES THIS THING EVEN POOP WHEN IT'S CONNECTED LIKE THIS?) TO A RETARDED DOG(NO OFFENSE)WHO ALMOST LOOKS LIKE A STIMPY RIPOFF (BIG BLUE NOSE, THREE HAIRS) WHO DOESN'T EVEN SEEM TO KNOW WHATS EVEN GOING ON, (BESIDES THINKING CHASING DAMN DUMP TRUCKS, AND EATING HIS OWN CRAP OUT OF THE TRASH IS GOOD, CLEAN, FUN) (AND THE ANIMALS IN THIS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE PEOPLE? DOG SHOULD BE IN SOME KIND OF THERAPY/HOSPITAL THEN). (GROW UP DOG.) LIVE WITH SOME STUIPD BLUE RAT THAT LIVES IN THE WALL THAT ONLY COMES OUT TO PICK ON THEM (WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST KICK HIM OUT?), AND HAVE SOME STUPID DOG GANG (APPEARENTLY NONE OF THEM HAVE A LIFE, ESPCALLY THE STUPID SQUIRREL THAT WANTS TO JOIN THEM SO DAMN BAD) FROM DA HOOD BEAT THEM UP FOR NO REASON (SERIOUSLY, THEY NEED A LIFE, AND WHY THE FUК DIDN'T THEY GET A DAMN RESTRAINING ORDER?), STUPID BIGSHOT GREEN RABBIT GUY, WHO THINKS HES A GOD, THAT GIVES NOBDOY ANY RIGHTS (HE WON'T EVEN LET CATDOG IN FЯЁAKIИ TACO BELL!) A PIG THAT BEATS UP SOME BLUE POSSUM THING OVER A DAMN ACTION FIGURE OR SOMETHING(SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE HΣLL WERE THEIR AGES?), SOME HUNKY WANNABE GUY THAT CUTS HIS A$$ OFF FOR A PASTIME(LOSER)AND REPLACES IT WITH SOMEONE ELSES (EWWWWWWWWWW!) SOME MEXICAN BIRD LADY, AND A BUNCH OF OTHER LOSERS THAT INHABIT A HELL HOLE TOWN (RUN BY BIGSHOT RABBIT GUY) THIS SHOW SUCKED, THIS AND ROCKET POWER BEGAN NICKELODEON'S DOWNWARD SPIRAL FROM A GREAT CHANNEL, TO IT'S CURRENT 'DICKELODEON' SH*T. (SEASONS 1-3 OF SPONGEBOB WERE AN EXECPTION). I MEAN, THEIR PARENTS WERE A DAMN FROG AND A SASQUATCH! (OOPS, I MEAN THEIR 'ADOPTIVE' PARENTS. LAME).

it definitely jumped with that gay mexican bird. no offense to mexican people, or course, but what was she, a whipporwhill? since when are they hispanic? anyway she really grinds my gears.
otherwise this show is kid-friendly without being dumb, and able to entertain adults without being too esoteric. i loved it, as i've said before.

This show was okay, nothing special. I still don't know why Cat and Dog just couldn't have had the Greasers arrested, or sued Rancid Rabbit or whatever. Also, it kind of pissed me off in the movie, we saw Cat and Dog's ADOPTIVE parents, but i thought we were going to see Catdog's REAL Mother and Father, we could have atleast had a flashback to when they could have been killed or something, like in the Wild Thornberry's with Donnie's Parents. I'm still not over that.

I think everyone who is against this show is TOTALLY MISSING THE POINT. It's a KID'S CARTOON! My daughter totally loves it, and it's a cartoon I can actually sit through and get some adult amusement out of without hearing the baby talk one hears on shows like the Rugrats. What is sad about the whole thing, is that we have about a dozen cartoon channels on cable, and they have since removed Catdog from it. Don't tell me there isn't room for a half hour of this a week, when there are over 100+ hours of Spongebob (A GREAT show by the way)every week. This show was made for kids, and the weird premise actually holds their attention. But I suppose more generic "family" cartoons is what every adult out here wants. RELEASE THIS ON DVD ALREADY!

This show was weird, but it wasn't bad. Wasn't great, either. But it's a work of art compared to the second-rate cartoons on tv today. The photographer bird was a stupid and annoying addition to the show, though.

Weak premise for a show. Yeah its original but that doesn't make it good What the hell happened to Nickelodeon?

God I hate Catdog

The most disturbing Nicktoon of all time, but I haven't seen catscratch or the x's. Another thing I hated about it was that Cat never reached his goal in an episode.

I saw that show on Nicktoons TV (on my Directv seystem) and I agree with everybody. This is the most uglest yet, painful cartoon I have even seen! The animation is bad, the plots are awful, and the characters on this show (well, except CAT) are pointless, annoying, and just plain dumb mixed with rude and obnoxious! Why did Nickelodeon has to urge to come up with stuff? I'll give you three words: MONEY! MONEY! MONEY! Man, I can't believe Nicktoons TV is airing this crap when they should just show Rocko's Modern Life and The Angry Beavers instead. Now those are really good shows, way better than CatDog!

When I read a lot of these comments, the people who say they hate this seem to be a bit older and are looking back on it with the early NickToons. I first saw this show at the end of 1998, when I was 12, when channel 4 (in the UK) showed it as part of their Sunday Morning youth/teen slot (we didn't get cable until 1999, and didn't have nick until 2001). I actually never considered it that bad at all. Very surreal, and slightly gross out, but I actually quite enjoyed it, I've never really seen anything wrong with it whatsoever, I think people just see the idea of a cat & dog joined together and cringe- if you see the show, it's not as bad as it seems. Obviously, it's nothing compared to Rocko and the Early Ren & Stimpy's (back when it was less gross and still funny- After around 1993, it got more gross and the humour vanished) but it's still quite good, and even now I'm 17, I still enjoy it. When Nicktoons TV launched here in the UK in July 2002 I actually got a chance to see it quite often. Sadly, after only a few months, it and most of the schedule was messed up so they could show the pretentious and overrated rugrats, which now gets around 6 hours a day (and to say the channel is only on air for 13- not good). Anyway, for me, the jumping of the shark was the Great Parent Mystery TV Movie, where CatDog went on a search to find their parents. They never found their actual parents, but a pair of really strange creatures who brought them up. Yes, it found CatDog's roots, but we still don't know where they spawned from, which is what we all wanted to know. Really, this TV Movie is what did it for me on what was otherwise a good show.

To the person who said Catdog never jumped the shark is an idiot. Of all idiots out there they have to put that stupid comment on the Jump The Shark page is this one. Believe me would I lied to you if you say a show like that is interesting when a Cat gets connect with a Dog and the Cat gets beat up while the Dog is just a brainless fool by just standing there. Don't let them fool you cause this is a really bad show and is one of Nickelodeon big mistakes of all the Nicktoons they really have there. Man not only that they have really bad characters like Winslow, The Greaser Dogs, Cliff and of course Lola. I can believe people think this is a good show when is just piece of garbage. It's pretty sad that the most-talented Jim Cummings as well as Tom Kenny, Billy West and Carlos Alazraqui has runs up paying their voice-acting salary for this extremely low-budget cartoon that really when overboard to the top of steamboat. As other comments said this show deserves a Day One on the board and that my friend is this show.
