Never Jumped
It tried to be serious

I love this show my family and i use to record this show. We never missed one episode. Now i can't find the ending. Do anyone know where i can buy the DVD or what channel they air at.
Wow...this was a blast from the past that I almost forgot. This show used to come on a local channel in my hometown on Saturday afternoons. I used to make French toast (I had just learned to make it so, that's ALL I made) and watch this show. It was so bad it was downright good. It never jumped because it really wasn't on long enough to have the chance and it was cheesy to begin with. I vaguely remember the characters but I vividly remember the bad acting, horrible wardrobes and scowling looks the women gave at the end of a scene. Now that's TV! Why isn't this on dvd?
This show was wild beyond belief. I was lucky in that the Dallas TV channel showed two episodes back to back late at night. Actually, the few times I see daytime soap operas, I realize how intriguing this show was compared to those. These women were all ex-convicts, and yet there was a unique humanity to each one of them. I'm the type of person who says, "Lock 'em up and throw away the key!" But this show actually made me realize that life was not that simple. What I find ironic is that it took such a cheesy show like this one to teach me that valuable life lesson. It's like watching a TV version of an auto accident, and you can't help but be part of the onlooker traffic.
this show was so cool. fisher was tough, he had to be.Holly was a nut!! loved the Rita /Roxy sister drama. looked forward to it every week. casper van dien before he made it big (Tarzan, Starship Troopers..) .
Oh, my. We'll just pretend that I didn't scream and wave my arms around when I saw the listing for this show! I used to watch this when I was a kid, and I thought it was the coolest show ever. Like someone said, the female Oz prototype, or something. I even remember the extra special Richard Bey show where they centered around the effort to save the show. It went off the air, anyway. Tsk.
Yes, it was corny, nevertheless I LOVED this show! I even got to go to Glendale Studios & meet the cast before the show went off the air. I still have a lot of the episodes on tape. Does anyone remember Crystal's bad-boy son Ricky? I was in love with him
This was surely a show that was not to be taken seriously and only those who did could say it ever jumped. Those who realize it was purposely corny will understand it never jumped. For the poster above, I know what you mean about people not remembering shows when they meant so much to you. This show rocked, much like the novelas on univision. The plots and suspense are so good that the depth of the characters doesn't really matter. All the women were top notch, my favorite being Patricia/Faith Cronin. Remember Joe's ex wife Karen?? What was that all about??? She lurked around that inn like a silent rat and then you wouldn't see her for a few episodes?? Didn't she have a job to go to or something?? She was the most dangerous one of all because she almost sent the show to the sharks (haha). I miss this show. Also, I could be mistaken but I don't think it lasted until 1995.
It never jumped. I LOVED this show! I was devastated when they took it off the air. I'm glad to see that there are actually people out there that remember and enjoyed this show as much as I did. Every time I ask anyone if they remember it they have no clue what I'm talking about. Randy on this show was cute. I wonder what he's up to now.
This show totally had a "It's so bad I can't stop watching" quality to it. The acting was horrible -though some of these actors and actresses had roles in slightly more respectable mediums either before or after this show (Anthony Addabo - soap hunk, for example and Lynn Hamilton - what was she thinking???).
i dont understand why they took this show off.. i thought it was excellent.. it was like a female OZ back then... excellent show.. i gave it 2 thumbs up!
