Great show... I'm of the Scrubs, and the office variety guy, but when this show was on I couldn't wait for the next episode to air... They did a good job of developing the character backgrounds as well, just to keep us intrigued.

This is one of a few shows that can pick up right where it left off, even if it left five years ago. Get Van, Deaq, and Billie back, and let's make a couple more seasons. Bring back Drive also. And Temptation Island.

It didn't have a CHANCE to jump!If I only had like a few million Dollars.. I would totally bring this show back even if it were only a 2 hr movie finale.

The show was awesome and just fun to watch which alot of programs lack now. Action and comedy. you know what killed this show? Reality television! and weve been screwed ever since. fox needs to get off its ass ang give us the rest on dvd if they ever finished the set.

This show was AMAZING! It was so silly and ludicrously over the top and exuberantly ridiculous and quite aware of it. You can't watch it seriously, you have to watch it knowing that it's all a grand joke, and it's terrific. Quite clever too.

I especially love the homoerotic undertones that the writers snuck in between Van and Deaq that aren't even "uner"tones. So fun.

If you like this show you are either a drooling retard or hip enough to get the joke. I'm not sure if the producers took it as a serious show or not, but Fastlane is exactly like if a thirteen year old Micheal Bay on Red Bull wrote Miami Vice. It's hilarious to watch because one gets the sense that the every script was written in all caps.

THEN THEY TOTALLY GRAB THE COPS GUN AWAY FROM HIM BECAUSE THERE AWESOME!!! AND THERE'S SUPER HOTT BABES IN BIKINIS AND THEY TALK ABOUT STEVE MCUEEN SOME MORE! AND THEN THE GUNS EXPLODE!

And it might sound like I'm ripping the show, but like most projects McG is attached to there is a kind of infectious, idiotic joy that colors the whole thing. Before you know it you actually care about the one-dimensional characters a bit, and you're addicted. Junk food entertainment in the best possible way. I watched it in its original airing and now I'm watching again in reruns on tvOne.

This show never jumped, it was too far gone to begin with, and that's why I love it.

This show is awesome, it never jumped, it was what society needed to break away from the bad movies and low action shows on tv. Come on, it was all McG... good action and even bettercharachters

When Jay Mohr comes on the show as the "anti" Tiffani-Amber. What is up with that? I'm used to him being sarcastic and a smart-ass, was not ready to accept him as a nerdy cop wannabe.

I actually thought that this show could actually survive Fox's Friday night graveyard when it got moved there from its better Wednesday spot. Billy getting drugged up again at the end of the very last Fastlane episode showed shark-jumping potential, but I don't think the show itself ever jumped after the end of that first season.

JTS as soon as the shows concept hit page-one of the pilot script. “Fastlane” is so mind numbingly bad I’m amazed Aaron Spelling’s name is nowhere to be found on the credits. If you’re a person who likes one-dimensional characters, preposterous storylines, over the top acting, mindless violence, headache inducing editing, and blaring wall-to-wall house music, this series was made to order. If the producers had tried even a little bit to make a reasonably intelligent show (instead of trying to be hip) I could have cut them some slack, but intelligence obviously wasn’t part of their game plan. The most remarkable thing about this pile-up is that it lasted an entire television season – go figure.

Never jumped! this was one of the best shows on the air! I'm a girl and i loved the show i loved the cars and the guns and the girls they got to be in every episode where hot. there was nothing wrong with the show and fox is so stupid for canceling it. especially with the season finale being such a cliff hanger. now i will never now how everything was fixed.

This was one of the best shows ever and FOX is an idiot for canceling it. Every show delighted the senses, intrigued the imagination, and challenged the intellect in ways I didn't think were possible. Oh my. There was one piece I think is typical of the coolness: A reprobate was talking to his criminal boss, and a dollup of sweat formed on his forehead. The camera slowly tightened on the dollop, which continued down his cheek. Soon the shot was of just the dollup, and its reflections of the surroundings. Capturing the internal struggle and fear of the reprobate better than words. The dollup fell from the cheek and shattered 'gainst the floor, just as the reprobate's life was now shattered. A vision of crystalline perfection, of a vessel capable of reflecting all possibilities, reduced to an incoherent mess on the floor. BEAUTIFUL! This show should've gone on and on and on and on.
