I don't get it...if you mock gays, jews, minorities, etc., you'll be labelled a bigot (and rightfully so), yet the obese are fair game? Did I miss something?
Okay, enough already. Does anyone else notice that there are WAY too many shows about fatties? I guess the American public loves mocking the obese, but as a fatty myself, i am offended. God forbid any show make fun of handicapped, mentally challenged, or any racial or gender group, the network would be sued up the creek. But somehow, it is okay to watch fat people cry and be vulnerable on tv. enough already
One thing I don't understand is how does this show promote a healthy way to lose weight? It forces unhealthy overwight people to walk inhuman amounts of miles that none but the most fit would even consider. Each time I watch this show the contestants are always in pain, and though they lose a decent amount of weight they don't calculate weither it's fat, water, etc. To me, it's more of a show for everyone to insult the over-weight rather than encourage a healthy lifestyle. All well, at least it makes me laught.
