Can we pleeeeeeeeeease get more Johnny Zacchara with his shirt off? Maybe in every scene? The background would be just fine. If you wanted him to have his pants off as well, I would NOT argue.
When Laura "drowned" and they tried pairing Luke up with other girls..the chemistry just wasnt there.Luke is still pretty sexy though,I must admit..Alease
GH jumped the shark when they gave Jason Morgan a son yet refused to let him be with the boy. That's beyond stupid. He can run all over town saving everybody else and their kids, but he cant be with his own son and the mother of his child. So instead of having Jason be about his kid, they have him walking out on his son so that he can continue to shoot people up.
GH needs Vet storylines. When was the last time we saw Monica have a story or even a patient? When was the last time Tracy had a story that did not centre around Luke. Or when was Luke used for something other than comedy. GH needs to stop the Sonny and Jason show though I like Jason he gets way too much airtime and need to be wrong for once. Also wha about the PCPD stop making them look idoits Mac is a smart honourable guy who is a much better person than the so called St. Sonny, but Guza never gives him a story. Even when Robert came back Mac got very little time with his brother. Guza needs to blance the show for starters Sonny and/or Jason need to go to jail for at least a year and they need to be busted by Mac. Oh and just wondering does anyone even like Sonny anymore?
GH jumped when the soap become a mob saga that constantly focused on the boring, Sonny, Jason, and Carly.
And also getting rid of wonderful, legacy characters like Felicia Jones, Alan Quartermaine, Bobbi Spencer, Laura Spencer, Audrey Hardy, Stefan Cassidine, Tony Jones, and other legendary vets.

Guza sucks its all sonny all the time. GH needs to return to its roots LnL, and give vets real storylines. I would love to see Robert come back team up with brother Mac and bring Sonny down once and for all. Also the show need varity storylines for all ages not just teens and the so called St. Sonny hour. get real MB sucks his talent is all in his head, he needs to remember that he was just one of many before Guza fell in love with him. And 1 more thing what happended to Stavros returining? GH could use a cassadine and though I love Helena she is getting old
Well, this is a soap opera, and soap operas are known to do ridiculous things, but GH has had far too many up close and personal moments with the shark.
1. It's pretty much become the Sonny/Jason/Carly/Lulu show. Anytime other characters seem to get shine only when backing up these four. They are good in small doses, but beyond that, I can't stand them.
2. Speaking of Lulu, wtf is really going on? They destroyed Luke and Laura's daughter. Why do they have every young man chasing after her? Why does she lead them on like that?
3. All the senseless death! Alan and Tony were bad enough. Emily was horrible. But then they killed, of all people, GEORGIE?? Frisco and Felicia's little girl? Why? And to add insult to injury, she was killed by her friend.
4. No happy couples. No cute, romantic, anything! The closest thing to a cute, happy couple is Spinelli and Maxie, and they aren't even dating! (speaking of Spinelli, can't they calm his happy ass down? Sometimes he seems like a human, and then they decide to make him into a raving loon again. We get it, he has no social skills. Sad though, he's a cute guy, but hard to listen to!)
5. Yes...we actually DO appreciate and want to see our vets.
6. I can watch the Sopranos or The Godfather trilogy if I wanted to see the damn mob all the time. Other stuff has to be happening in Port Charles.
7. And the worst offense of all: the writing staff is garbage! WTF have they been thinking over the last few years? And what is ABC thinking letting it continue? I know they see those crap ratings. Better do like Y&R and sack all of them, before the word cancellation starts to come up.

Sonny is the mob boss who every woman wants to sleep with despite the fact that he will treat them like crap and will become practically abusive. Yet women find that sexy. Then we have Jason who has to be the hero in every story. Not to mention that everyone practically kisses his butt. Every year its the same crap with some bad guy or guys trying to eliminate Sonny and Jason and of course failing because they are the almighty. We have veterns being killed off and some characters barely being seen. The character of Carly is always in other peoples business and yet almost every man seems to pine after her. Oh yeh and bringing back favs like Robert and Holly and Noah and ruining them.
General Hospital has definately "jumped the shark!" The show does not focus on the hospital or the characters at the hospital anymore. But this started way before Sonny. Back in the 70's the show was more about the doctors and nurses, but in 1980, it became about Luke and Laura and their adventures. All of their adventures were boring; The Ice Princess, The WSB, and most of all the mob wars! This show has a bad habit of only focusing on certain characters ie. Luke, Laura, Sonny, Jason, Carly (whoever she is being played by) Robert, and Anna. All of their storylines were boring, and they totally ignored the doctors and nurses at the hospital. Unfortunately on that show, every storyline leads to Sonny, Jason or Carly. Here are some ways to make this show work:
1. Get Rid Of Sonny once and for all.
2. Emily was a lying slut, leave her dead, she just can't stay away from Nicohlas on and off screen!
2. Bring the focus of the show back to the hospital.
3. Have storylines for all of the characters.
4. Bring in some black characters who do something. Bring back the original Simone Hardy and Tom Hardy who came back in the late 80's.
5. Bring back all of the dead Quartermaines; Alan, A.J., Justice, and poor Georgie. They can make up a storyline that they were being held hostage on some island (remember Days of Our Lives did it).
6. This is not a world where all the people are straight and white, bring in a gay character for God's sake! And make him stable and strong. He should also hook up with one of the male characters on the show!
7. And last but not least, Stop having everyone change bed partners every five seconds! Did we forget about AIDS all of a sudden?

Seriously what is with this show? It seems in the past five years they have needed an Alcazar to blame everything on, first Luis then Lorenzo, then Diego, and of course don't forget Sage as well. But if you don't actually have one on your canvas, to blame somethng such as the TMK murders on, hey just resurrect them. I mean I am suppose to buy that all knowing oh so great oh so wonderful Jason Morgan, or is that now Moron coudn't tell that Diego was actually still alive in that warehouse a year ago, come on he was the first one to check for a pule, do TIIC think I have forgotten that. Oh and lets throw one more bashing at Lorenzo in there and have it said that he protected his sadistic psychotic son. Seriously how long does this show plan to punish those of us who had to audacity to actually like the Alcazar's over the oh so holy Corithoes. It was bad enough that Diego was the killer, when someone like Logan or Cooper would of been far more believeable, as well as suspenseful, Diego was anti-climatic and just plain stupid as well as a cop out, but the clincher is guess who is the big hero again, yep good old Jason Moron, no Lucky, or even Mac who had a right to be since his daughter was one of the victims. Speaking of Georgie am I suppose to buy that Diego would want to kill the one friend he had in this town, never in a million no make that a billion years. Boy this show really knows how to continue to twist the knife and punish any and all of us fans of the Alcazar family. My advice to anyone who may like any Zacharra (yeah I know pretty iffy) don't get too fond of them, TIIC are going to need to sacrificial lambs to look bad for their holier then thou wonderous mobsters, their next on the chopping block, after all I think their done with Alcazar's for now, this whole Diego is the TMK nonesense really was a total bust.
I'm appalled that while Carly pushes Jason to claim Jake, she forgot that Michael's A.J.'s son! Good greif! The kid wouldn't be so messed up if A.J. had raised him!

I was so totally appalled by the stunning hypocrisy of General Hospital's Public Service Announcement, decrying 'youth violence' on the show aired on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2008! This is a show which has made St. Sonny the Mob Boss and Jason the Holy Hit Man the moral centers of this show's universe!
As I sit here, typing these words - at this VERY moment - Sonny is telling Jason that, because the Zacchara family is OBVIOUSLY responsible for Kate being shot - naturally - the Zacchara family needs to be wiped out - immediately if not sooner. So much for 'setting a good example.' The most frightening aspect of this, of course, is that TIIC at GH truly believe that Sonny vowing BLOODY revenge against the Zacchara family really IS 'setting a good example!"
I happen to live in Colorado and happen to have had family and friends who were present at Columbine High School during the shooting rampage which claimed so many lives there. Shortly afterward, when General Hospital was awarded an Emmy for that year, during her acceptance speech, Wendy Riche pledged 'programming that will make a difference' in the wake of Columbine. Riche was fired shortly afterward - so we will NEVER know what she meant by 'programming that will make a difference.'
By 2001, following the tragic events of September 11, ALL of the soaps - with the OBVIOUS exception of Young and Restless and Bold and Beautiful - were scrambling like wild men to re-write their bloody fare. The shame-faced bigwigs later went around to the soap press, wringing their hands and promising that they would be producing a 'kinder, gentler' soap product in the wake of that scramble for re-writes. TOTALLY escaping the notice of TIIC was something VERY obvious! The two TOP rated shows were NOT scrambling to re-write embarrassingly bloody fare!
Not long after that, of course, the 'sweeps' story line of General Hospital focused on new-bad-guy-in-town, Luis Alcazar - plummeting to his death from the top of a 'towering' hotel. Naturally, GH kept showing the scene of Luis plunging to his death - over and over. TIIC continued repeating that scene IN SPITE OF the fact that ABC, Disney, GH and Soap Net were receiving letters from people who actually LIVED in New York and were writing to say that they believed that the constant repetition of that scene was too much like the many people who jumped to their deaths from tall buildings in order to escape the flames engulfing the top floors of the World Trade Center on September 11! Again - the most frightening aspect of all of this is that TIIC at GH really and truly DO believe that repetitions of the scene of Luis Alcazar plunging to his death really WAS 'a kinder and gentler' soap product!
NOT content, of course, with the repetitions of Luis Alcazar plunging to his death, by March 25 of 2005, General Hospital was once again in the midst of plotting another blood bath. In this instance, Sonny ordered Jason to wipe out all members of the rival Sandoval family - WHILE the Sandoval family was meeting at the Metro Court Restaurant. Sonny ALSO ordered Jason to ALSO murder any and ALL innocent bystanders who MIGHT be able to give an eye-witness account of the bloodbath to police! That order was changed only AFTER Jason arrived at a memorial event planned for not-really-dead-Michael and discovered that Sonny's sister, COURTNEY, was most likely going to be one of the innocent bystanders who would end up being murdered. Even though Jason RACED to the Metro Court to change the order - the shooting had ALREADY begun by the time that Jason arrived - and Courtney was ALREADY covered with blood! March 25, 2005 was just weeks away from the SIXTH anniversary of the shooting rampage at Columbine! Just FOUR days before ABC, Disney, General Hospital, et. al., aired Sonny and Jason's shooting rampage at the Metro Court - a school shooting in Minnesota had claimed TEN lives! As far as we know - ABC, Disney and GH did not even briefly consider the possibility of dumping the bloodbath scheduled for General Hospital on March 25! Again, the most frightening aspect of all of this is that TIIC at GH do TRULY believe that Sonny and Jason's shooting rampage at the Metro Court really WAS 'programming that will make a difference' in wake of the tragic events at Columbine.
Just as, I suspect by now, that TIIC really and truly believe that, when Sonny pinned Johnny Zacchara to the wall TODAY and muttered: "If anything happens to Kate - you are a dead man!" - TIIC really and truly WERE showing Sonny 'setting a good example.' Just as it says in GH's 'public service announcement.'
Frankly, I can not really remember when the last time was that I thought anyone anywhere should take a public service announcement from General Hospital even remotely seriously. And it does not appear that TIIC plan to tarnish their unblemished record for NOT producing believable PSA's any time soon. And that is SUCH a pity!

I've been watching since the mid-80's, and this show definitely jumped when it became the Sonny show! I didn't mind him in the beginning, and he and the original Carly were hot, but it's tired. The mob mess is annoying, and it became nerve wrecking to watch the mob constantly get away from being punished. I can't even stomach today's show. I just read spoilers now, I don't even bother to actually watch it anymore.
