The show got off to a very slow start, but there were some good storylines - Jason Craig's "murder" and the Daniel Reubens/Charles Mullens story. Things got really interesting once the brought back Peter Whitmore and explained why he abandoned his family years before. I think the show, had it stayed on the air, was going to have Chantal Marshall become the child of Ruth and Peter, as it was revealed that they had slept together when she was a teenager and that is around the time when she met her future husband, Henry Marshall. The show had a lot of potential and it was a shame it couldn't find a home on syndication.

What a great idea!!! However, the show aired at 12:30 against The Young and The Restless which was the number 1 show. NBC didn't support the show either. The show should have lasted more than 2 years. NBC is well know for not standing behind its soaps though.

This show stopped being good when Bob Guza Jr is no longer the head writer. He knew the show inside and out. He knew great drama!! The show hasn't had the same intensity since he left.

When Stone died... when Brenda and Sonny broke up... When Jaggar and Karen left... and how could they replace Lucky??? that was so wrong, and that guy isnt even nearly as good looking as the REAL lucky is. After watching GH since the show when Victor choked on Lucy's diamond pendant and died, i can sadly say that i have not watched in years.
