Jack was the single most annoying character ever conceived by NBC, and that's taking David Schwimmer into the equation.
All of my homosexual friends were offended by this show.

What a piece of crap.
Everything pointed to Jack and Will getting together. Why they did not end the series that way is mind-boggling.
This show started great, then was just painful as it aged. Karen was awesome early, then she became annoying. Same with Jack. They were both OK, but then the writer's wrote all those "forced" lines for them. Let them have a conversation, note just put downs. Who would possibly hang around those two mean-spirited clowns?
The last year and series finale sucked out loud. All those endless episodes of "we'll be friends forever" crap and it ends up that their kids grow up without ever meeting? And then get married? They need a word beyond "contrived" to try to explain that waste of air-space away. Worst series wind-up ever.

It really started its final descent into the ocean with Stanley's revival. (Why? It provided nothing to improve the story.) And just got exponentially worse from there. Like they were just stealing scripts from other shows and changing the characters names. Nothing made sense.

Big disappointment.
I recently read on another site that the performers who played Jack and Karen and planning to revise their roles in a spin-off sereis of their own. If it picks up, it will start in about a year. I am very excited about this prospect! I wonder how the show will deal with the time-lapse between the time that "Will and Grace" ended and the time that their show began. It will also be interesting to see if the characters of Will, Grace or any of the supporing characters ever make guest appearances. Has anyone reading this heard anything about this undertaking?
The exact second Will & Grace jumped the shark is when Leo showed up on that white horse. No chemistry, not funny, ruined Will & Grace's relationship. I stopped watching as it got worse and refuse to watch those reruns. Leo RUINED it!
Funny how so many people seem to think this ripped off Seinfeld.Am I the only person out here who thinks Seinfeld SUCKED ?!?! Will and Grace on the other hand has some seriously hilarious moments (I've just finished watching seasons 1-5 on DVD AND IT'S GREAT !!!)I can barely make it thru 1 entire episode of "Seinfeld"...
Jack and Karen and the other odd characters were the funniest part of the show. I hated the characters of will and grace, especially their needy shallowness, and the shark jump hard with them tryn to make a baby. WHY? so the child can be as screwed and selfish as they were?
This is the fifth time this evening that I have posted a message and it has come down in less than two hours! Oh Brother!
I've got to add to my comments below about Blythe Danner, Cynthia Harris and Hazel Sherment, just to clear things up after I've re-read my comments a few times. I want to make sure that everyone here realizes that I am talking about these beautiful women in a purely non-sexual way! I would never ever ever want to imply any kind of sexual overtone to any of my comments on this page or on any other of the hundreds and thousands of comments I've made around this board that any of those comments about these beautiful ladies are meant in any way to be thought of as sexual in nature! My apologies if anyone has taken them that way, because I most certainly did not mean them to come out that way!

Actually, you should all go over to the Growing Pains page and read the kind comments I have for Kirk Cameron and Christopher Knight over there! And while you're at it, go ahead and visit my wonderful blog at the TV Shows Are My Life website! It's a hoot! I get to go on and on and on all about every TV show that I have ever watched and tell you about every episode that has ever aired! Great stuff!
Over on the "Will and Grace" section of a site called "Sitcoms Online" I started a thread called "Blythe". The last time that I checked this thread had twelve views and "zero" responses! It really amazes me that that page of that site gets so little use! In any event, the main theme of that post was to express how I felt about how good Blythe Danner looks as an older woman. All over that board and this one, I have posted dozens of messages about her as well as two other women that I think look great in their old age! The two other actresses that I am referring to are Cynthia Harris and Hazel Sherment. What do other fans think of any of the above babes?
Thank God other people feel the same way as I do, that Leo was the reason the show jumped the shark. Everything about the show changed once he entered the scene. His character was so boring to me and he had 0 chemistry with Grace. I actually stopped watching the show when he was brought in as it was not the same. The producers must have felt the same way because it was around that time all of the celebrities started popping up more and more frequently. (I did, however, love the Britney episode, one of my favorites)

Woody Harrelson was a great match for Grace and I wish they had brought him back every so often instead of pairing up Grace with Leo. Also, why the NEED to put Grace in a relationship all of the time, but not Will. He had a total of, what, one serious relationship? I know he dated, but Vince was the only actual relationship I can recall him having.

Karen Walker, in my opinion, is the funniest sitcom character ever. Her lines were always memorable and if it hadn't been for her, this show never would have made it past one season, so God bless her!

The finale was disappointing, as Leo was back. I did enjoy the Jack/Karen/Beverly Leslie storyline and also how Jack and Karen ended up living together like an old married couple, it was cute. (it's also how I always imagined things would end with Will and Grace)

I just wish instead of bringing Leo back, they brought back Woody Harrelson, who had great chemistry with everyone on the show.
For a long time, I was desperately seeking the episode in which Grace announced that she had been putting her husband's inflatable neck pillow in between her butt and that toilet seat. I was almost sure that this was the first episode of season five. However, someone that I met on a sign called "Sitcoms Online" informed me that this was originally a supersized episode and was edited down for syndication purposes. It turns out that it was the syndicated version that was put on DVD. I find it ashaimed that this scene was deleted! I thought that what Grace said was halarious!
Im sorry but how its copying seinfeld..you probably saw the same thing or two on both shows and went "OMG ITS A SEINFELD RIP-OFF"..what an illusion
