Day freaking one. The death of good Saturday Morning cartoons from there. The animation is lame, kinda remind me of the classic Hanna Barbera cartoons, except that they was good and this sucks.
Hammerman is garbage.
Hammerman is garbage.
This show didn't jump because it never reached a high point from which it could jump.
Seriously, what kind of self-respecting villian would be scared of a guy who calls himself "Hammerman"?
Yes, we're talking about a cartoon, but they could at least make it less challenging to suspend disbelief for 30 minutes

I never saw this show, havent ever heard of it before. So really, I have no business posting a comment about this show. So, was it like about a guy that was a hammer? Did he have a hmmer on his head??
ONE OF THE WORST CARTOONS EVER.I couldn't believe how terrible the animation was. MC Hammer was highly popular at this time but you think that they could've provided better animation than this piece of $#@+! I gave it a chance but I couldn't even get through the first episode. I couldn't 'touch this' but I could touch the channel button on my remote. So definitely this cartoon jumped the shark on day one. THEN HIS CAREER JUMPED THE SHARK TOO!
When Gramps put the magic shoes on...Stanley (Hammerman in normal guy mode) was in trouble kidnapped or something, the shoes Lefty and Might Righty...Yes those were their names...went to gramps, who was the first owner of the shoes, and Gramps turned into a James Brown type of superhero, and saved him...not sure if thats a jump but it was pretty damn funny
This show was garbage from the opening theme forward. Showing this show to children would definitely fall under the category of child abuse. If Hammer had anything to do with this mess, he career should have been destroyed. I grew up watching the cartoons of the 60's and 70's. Although they may not have been the best animated cartoons, at least the appealed to the targeted audience--Kids! To put it frankly, Hammerman would have to improve greatly just to be considered a waste of time.
This show was great. M.C. Hammer at his cheesiest! And who ever watched this show remembers the theme song, "He put on the magical shows and began to dance around singing go Hammer go Hammer go Hammer go!
Hammer...What were you thinking? Ever heard of the term "over-exposed". You had a nice little thing going on there with the "rapping" and the dancing and you F*CKED it all up. You had cartoons, commercials and if I remember correctly, there were Hammer dolls too. Guess Hammer doesn't have to worry about over-exposure now, just bankruptcy. This show jumped before it ever aired.
I admit I watched this show as a kid, but I got tired of seeing the same three episodes, especially the one with the talking robot. Anyone who watched the show knows what I'm talking about.
This was one of those cartoons that made you feel embarrassed and ashamed when you watched it. The was one little girl whose head was drawn so angular that her hair looked like an off-ramp! Sorry Stanley Kirk Burrell but I "Can't Touch This" 'toon with a ten-foot pole!
Pure crap. Crappy animation, crappy characters, and a crappy plot. And this coming from a guy who was sort of into M.C. Hammer when this show was on the air. And for you two arguing about which generation's cartoons were better...easy off, ok? You two were obviously raised on different things and have different tastes. I personally think a lot of cartoons from the thirties and fifties are kind of repetitive and depend too highly on slapstick humor, but that's me and nobody has to listen to my opinion. The cartoons I grew up with had a story and characters you could feel for. But they were GOOD, with a great premise and well-executed. Hammerman was not one of them.
