It jumped for me when a couple of years ago, during the NFL playoffs, when Bill Parcells "retired" from the Cowboys. It was Monday and you'd expect the playoffs to get top billing but since Parcells was on the Cowboys that got top billing. I then realized whenever something involved the Cowboys it gets top billing, this show and ESPN in general devote extensive coverage to it unless something happens in New York probably. It's not like Parcells is up there with John Wooden, Red Aeurbach, Vince Lombardi, or even Phil Jackson for that matter. I could see them covering Parcells retirement in the out of bounds segment but for top billing, not so much.
Also, unrelated, it would be interesting to see a political version of this show, probably hosted by Bill O'Reilly. I'm sure the mute button would be used quite frequently. :P

The show is topical. It's fun and informative. It is far better than the espn dreck on sundays. The sports reporters sucks!!
This show hasn't jumped yet, but they need to involve more columnists from more cities soon or it will jump...

plashke is an idiot. jackie mac doesnt bother me. my favorite is cowlishaw, because he seems like a nice guy and doesnt mind laughing at himself. mariotti is sharp. woody is all over the map, and i love watchiong him dig a hole for himself and then somehow come up with a wise gem. i liek bob ryan too.
Jakie Mac screwed up again yesterday. Ian Scott???? that is about as bad as when she said Iverson never got his team out of the first round of the playoffs. Hey retard, remember the finals between the Sixers and Lakers. The last time I checked the finals is later than the first round. I got to stop watching this show everytime she is on.
Reali is a better host than Kellerman was, Reali knows more about sports! Kellerman was a boxing guy and nothing else, his failure at FSN was fast and that show he had was awful. This show is entertaining, you can sit on your recliner and hear solid barroom banter about sports without actually being among a bunch of greasy bar patrons. Some people take tv shows a little too seriously. This is a solid show with a good idea and diverse personalities.
I hear a lot of comments about eye candy. I think this is a show mostly targeted for guys. So whats all this talk about male eye candy?

Reali may be eye candy, but is a deplorable host. Cowlishaw may be eye candy, but doesn't know sports from a hole in the ground. And must agree that Jackie Mac is only invited in order to be more PC. I disagree with having Mariotti and Paige as permanent panelists......they need to invite some journalists from other regions of the country.
