I think people need to calm down about this show..It has so many people that hate it and go on about how fake it is. The fact is that it is very popular, admittedly not as much as it was in 1996-1998 but still doing good. So who are we to complain, I wouldn't anyway as I am a huge Jerry fan...but other still do complain a LOT...if you don't like it...don't watch it...

When they went from normal bad behavior to outright deviency. Incest:not only brother-sister but mother-daughter and sister-sister??!!?
Then we have Jerry, who mind you, started out as a Oprah/Phil Donahue type, try to legitimize this s*** by giving a sermon at the end. The shark jumped over the pulpit.

Two trains of thought...

On one hand, it's a show about trailer trash and people desperate for attention.

On the other hand it could be seen as a satire.

My question about it is...when are they going to get rid of this garbage? When? It's been going on for too long now, & people are still watching this crap like it's real (which it obviously isn't). Also, can the Steve Wilkos show while they're at it. We don't need someone to scream at the guests constantly, regardless whatever they deserve it or not.

This show is comedy at its best! If anything, it has become a satire of talk shows. America's in no decline...in fact, Jerry has proven quite popular on other shows like "Dancing With the Stars" and "America's Got Talent". If all this negativity were affecting him in any way, he couldn't land another job.

Proof, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the United States of America is in decline. It doesn't even MATTER if this show is real or scripted: it just shows that civilization as we know it is rapidly coming unravelled...

im trying to watch some of the good stuff on my computer but i cant find were its at to watch it can you help.

This show obviously jumped when it became a joke show in the mid 90's. It went downhill when the fights were stopped. Then it went FURTHER downhill with the "red neck cam" type segments. Now it's rotting in hell with it's current format. I haven't seen this show in years but why are there all of a sudden puppets, a gorilla suit dude, a weird preacher, and fighting is back on?

Making Kenny a regular was a horrible idea...almost as bad as making Rev.Schnorr a semi regular.

Kenny and his half a body are just too creepy and I wish he would go away.

Given the success of Springer's protege, Steve Wilkos, the two shows should be differentiated--by having Wilkos tape his show at IU's Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana, since he likes throwing chairs as much as Bob Knight did! The sad thing is that Wilkos is the only person in America who, as President, would have the courage to tell the country exactly why America is losing its way--because we are selfish, materialistic, conceited and have little regard for anyone other than ourselves. That is something Bush, Clinton, Obama, Nader and McCain can never sugarcoat.

Well...I know this show is staged, same story lines, etc. But I am going all the way to Chicago, so I do have tickets for the show next week. I plan to have a hilarious good time. No different than watching this political circus we have going on the news 24 hrs a day!

Springer is a scripted show-point blank. Anyone who takes a show where there are midgets, half-men, drunk preachers, transexuals, and kids thinking they're vampires seriously needs to get a life and change the channel.

Springer is pure entertainment, and is one of the most hilarious shows on TV today. As Jerry says" An hour of your life that you'll never get back".

People who get all upset about this silly program need to find a hobby or something.
