This was a revamped version of a show that aired a year earlier called "Secrets Of Midland Heights." When that show was cancelled, the producers took four of the stars (ncluding Linda Hamilton) and put them in this show. Unfortunately it aired onSaturdays, the same night as "Midland Heights" and suffered the same fate. But I loved both shows and wish they would air on SoapNet. It would be a real treat to see them again.
This show never jumped, or maybe I'm just a sucker for the actress who was the unfortunate underdog in this series. This was a short-lived (7 episodes?) soap opera set in a small rural town. With the right chemistry of actors and story (it took about six episodes to become interesting, but even then sort of fell flat), it could've been the first 'Dawson's Creek' of it's kind. This is Jarold Immel's (of Dallas, and Knot's Landing fame) best piece of theme music ever....!!!! It was very upbeat and jazzy. Better than anything he did, except for his theme to, 'How The West Was Won'. When one hears the pacing of this musical score, it kind of pumps you up, and then you wonder how the story's pacing could be such a let down thereafter. If anyone wants to hear this music, go to www.soundamerica.com, and by the way, this is a great website for listening to TV series' themes. Try it, you'll like it.
