So dated. Even more than Miami Vice is. I was a big fan of Knight Rider when I was a kid (12-14) but looking back on it makes me wonder how I could have possibly been that naive. (I also liked 'BJ and the Bear' and 'That's Incredible!' Ugh!)

I don't think it ever jumped the shark. Yes, Super Pursuit Mode was a hideous addition, but it followed the tradition of adding new toys and the development of technology. As a kid, I would have stabbed you in the face if you said the show was bad.
As an adult, I will stab you in the shin instead. Especially those that rail against KARR. You want something to object to? KITT's everywhere cameras qualify.

Michael didn't marry her then divorce her 5 minutes later. The man that wanted Michael came to the wedding. The guy was gonna shoot Michael but Michael's girlfriend Stevie turned towards like she was gonna hug Michael or try to protect him. She ended up taking the bullet in the back and she died in Michael's arms.

I think Knight Rider jumped the shark twice. The first time was season 2 when they had that lady mechanic April and they introduced Wilton Knight's evil son Garth, who Michael looks just like, and Garth's 18 wheel version of KITT named Goliath. However, on that shark jump, they hit the rewind button and undone the jump when season 3 rolled around. Then they jumped the shark again in season 4 by bringing in the character RC-(played by Peter Parros) and only giving us ONE season of RC. We needed a 5th, another season to get to know RC and see RC in action more. Maybe even see RC drive KITT. I don't remember EVER seeing RC drive KITT.

I just saw the revival and I hate it!, it's awful! KITT is now a Ford Mustang and is not voiced by William Daniels, there's no mention of the old cast, David Hasselhoff only got to do one appearance and that was it!, It seems like everything is going to the younger generation today, they think they can replace the old, WRONG!, This new KITT didn't even Turbo Boost or do anything else from the past, I will always enjoy The Real (Knight Rider) 1982-86 on NBC with Michael, Devon, The old KITT, Bonnie, April, and RC3, I hope this new revival fails, it was like a nightmare at The Movies! KITT a Ford Mustang? Gimme A Break! Bring back the old KITT 1982 Pontiac Trans Am!, this is the worst revival I've seen since (Fantasy Island) in 1998 on ABC, "What The Hell's next?" (The A Team), (Airwolf), (Hardcastle And McCormick), (Simon & Simon), or even worse! I hate ruined classics!!!!!!!!!

Garth is not Michael's evil twin. Michael is a reproduction through plastic surgery of Garth. Garth is the legitimate son of the founder of the "Foundation for Law and Government". KARR is the original production of KITT Garth stole the plans and the system specs.

The show was a live-action cartoon. It seemed that each year they reset the premise and ignored the details from the previous season. What a silly show. This was one of the progams where the producers said, "It is just entertainment, why sweat the details."
