She now runs her own acting studio and still appears regularly on different movies and tv shows..She is best known for the cult fav,"Chopper Chicks in Zombietown". And yes she's still gorgeous!
From what I remember, it was a great show, but they never gave it a chance. Just like the idiots at Fox have had a reputation for not giving a show a chance.
i am the only one who loved her in this show?? and wished they would relsease it for me to buy. or even release it to that aol tv2. i just want to watch it again....
i loved the show. you cant expect perfection with the crappy formula type writing that hollywood worships. i have been a big fan of jamie rose's since the first time i saw her. sometimes her acting seemed a little wooden but then you can only do what the directer wants.i just wish she would get her own tv show again.
The ONLY good thing about this show was the voiceover in the promos: I loved the way the guy said "Lady Blue"! Sad, huh, when a voiceover is more exciting than the show it talks about!
The guy is laying there in pain, his vehicle in the distance. All this no-class Blue chick does is say, "Shut your mouth!" That and shoot the car until it explodes into flames. Bet your bottom dollar women everywhere would be screaming bloody murder if the sexes were reversed. Even Dirty Harry had standards.
Probably when they shot the pilot and actually sold it to some (now ex-) TV Exec. Even TV Guide thought up the Dirty Harriet moniker for her. About the only thing I remember is that the actress was hot and wore tight jeans but couldn't act. Also, every time she took out her 6in nickel plated Colt Python she got in trouble. The tight jeans wasn't enough. It popped up again on USA or something and they only made about 8 shows.
This show was a day one jumper if there ever was one. I remember one episode where Jamie Rose stood up, walked down the street, and shot up the bad guys; and not got hit herself while the bad guys were firing back, man was that awful. Personally I always thought Jamie Rose was kinda hot. She frequently shows up as guest star in a lot of shows, especially ones made by David E. Kelley. Casting Jamie Rose as a tough cop was a bad idea, I thought. She carried a Colt Python .357 Magnum, same gun as Dan Tana, and it was too big for her. The producers could at least have cast a bigger, more athletic chick for the role, someone like Tracey Scoggins.
Jamie Rose was indeed a "Dirty Harriet" kind of cop; but even when she tried to show her heart of gold beneath the badge... it was pretty unappealing. She always came off as rather abrasive. By the way.... Jamie Rose, who is kind of pretty... played the daughter of Robert Foxworth & Susan Sullivan.... the first couple seasons of "Falcon Crest". She was later replaced by Dana Sparks.
Jamie Rose got her start on St. Elsewhere. I always thought she was hot but I agree her cop show was a tad crappy. She had that "hair thing" going on which was always nice to gaze at.
I know the Leon Russell tune. I'm going out on a limb here, but I think that song ran longer than this piece of junk did.
This was a show about a female cop played by a redhead named Jamie Rose. I have never heard of her doing anything else since this bomb of a show that only lasted about four episodes before it was cancelled. It jumped the shark when she would always fire her gun for no good reason. For example, getting a few shots in for good measure before leaving a crime scene in progress, or shooting the lock off of a wardrobe cabinet. Anyone who knows anything about police work would know that a real cop wouldn't do that. Even a female Clint Eastwood like this gal, who did not help the cause of female cops one bit.
