The show jumped for me after season 1. The storylines all seemed forced and Patricia Arquette's acting, which started on basement level, went through the floor.

Joe has been a constant annoyance for me since episode 2. How many times can he not believe Allison only to be proven wrong at the end of the episode? At least once an episode you will hear the following Joe-ism uttered "Allison, maybe it was just a dream." This of course will never be true and Allison will prove within 60 minutes of conveniently editted television.

I'm done with this show.
To "Joe Pasko Albany NY":

'Twilight Zone' meets 'My Mother The Car' -- clever and funny! Thanks for the laugh!
Sylvia Browne should take a crack at a cameo on this show...maybe some of her luck will rub off on this Mary Sue White Blonde.
Women should be pissed?
Why a white and blonde with super straight hair?
Why not a hispanic or a black woman like Shirley Q. Liqour?
It's like A HAUNTING ,the women recreating the story are flawless Mary Sues. While a switch to the interview shows the REAL woman to be down right ordinary not "perfectly radiant".
Real Womean should be real women not Mary Sues.
This show came dangerously close to Jumping The Shark this week: having the dead woman coming through as the voice of the GPS in the SUV? And giving Alison steering directions, until she pulls up the driveway and into the murderous husband's garage?
The writers on this show seem accutely aware of "the shark" and are trying really hard to avoid repetitive episodes and formulaic plot development.
They are trying to tweak each story in such a way as to make it different enough from previous episodes, while keeping with the "spirit" of the series [pun intended]. This last episode - 'Twilight Zone' meets 'My Mother The Car' - a little too much tweaking. Silliness could kill this show more quickly than a tired formula!
Medium at Large: I see no problem. An overacted sex-scene here in the US would be considered Sesame Street material in my native Europe. However my sister is oversexed, so I might not be a good judge.
Anybody know what's happened to the eldest daughter, Ariel? She hasn't been in the last several episodes. When the rest of the family are sitting down for breakfast, the parents call for her to come to the table, but she never shows up. In the evening when the family is watching television, she's not sitting with them on the sofa. Perhaps the Chuck Cunningham Syndrome has struck the Medium household.
Rosanna Arquette as a guest star. It would have embarrassed me to see my sister overacting a sex scene like this one did! Wow! They've shown sex scenes on the Medium before, but none like this overacted one! It's not shark jumping, it's just shark dangling at this point
How can 54 people say casting Arquette jumped the show? That at this point is tantamount to saying casting Lucille Ball tanked "I Love Lucy".(??????)
Remember Philo Farnsworth? He invented analog signal TV.(A BIG improvment over the Blaine system in England.). Back in the day RCA did not have TV. Zuker and DeForrest met Farnsworth. Farnsworth let DeForrest see his work. Soon after RCA releases TV.Farnsworth screwed. Is this the future for Joe? Probibly. Television writers are not the brightest bulbs in the box. Also, isn't his venture capitolist now in a conflict of interest with her employers? Can't Joe get a break? Or a job and leave this destraction behind? AND do we have to see hin undress almost every episode? Tune in again fans to see if Medium finally jumps the shark.
Can't say I think much of the prospect of the ghost of Agent Cooper popping up now and then. The character isn't that interesting.

And I hope that Joe's venture capitalist figures in to one of Allison's dreams. Otherwise, that story line will be totally extraneous.
I think the whole cast is so much better than all the scripts so far this season, and that includes special guests Angelica Houston and Rosanna Arquette.

And it looks to me like Patricia Arquette has LOST weight. Funny how people can look at the same things and see them differently. It's what makes us unique, I guess.
Well to all you guys complaining I think the show is doing great and NBC announced today they are renewing the show for it's 5th Season!! I think it's getting into deeper plots and obviously, Patricia is pregnant in real life or they wouldn't be covering her up as much!
To me the show is getting a little boring. Joe should sue the bank and this episode about the one woman's daughter needs to end. We already know she is a sociopath!!!!!
Why does Allison confront the killers herself? It's one thing to talk to a ghost, but would a short, out of shape, on the verge of foreclosure, houswife really go by herself to confront an evil killer? "I know what you did and you won't get away with it..." or 2 weeks ago "I know what you did and 'I'll be watching you!'". Ooo I'm sure they're shaking in their boots. Just preposterous.

Don't any of these murderers recognize her? Did every one forget who she is?

And the show got harder to watch when she lost the support of a department. I could have watched her solve crimes with Scanlon and Devalos for a few more years. Maybe they're going to bring that back, if so hurry up! I can't take much more of this "freelance" stuff.

And while I love Anjelica Houston, her character's constant doubting and sniping at Allison was getting tired. Maybe she'll be released on an insanity plea. Great duo, the insane daughter avenger and the know it all yet still doubted by everyone psychic. Not!

C'mon, give her back her job, drop the money drama, and let's have a couple more ghosts from time to time.
Where have the chills gone? In the first three seasons, nearly each episode gave me chills. In this flat season four, there are none so far.

Without them, it's just another "sitdram."
