This is a show that I enjoy watching...but it irritates me to no end at times. For example, I really didn't like the way the writers "resolved" the Tony/Jeanne storyline this past season...to me, it just felt like Tony got over her TOO easily. I mean, special assignment or not, the man fell deeply in love with a beautiful, intelligent (a doctor, no less!) young lady who could very well have been "the one" for him. Takes more than an episode or two (or three...or four...etc.) to get over someone like that.

Like others have already mentioned, I think it's going to be interesting to see where the show's direction goes now in regard to this past season's finale. I won't miss Director Shepard much--nothing against Lauren Holly, I just didn't think her character added much to the show--but think it would be devastating to the show if the team is actually "reassigned."

I love this show and have JUST found out that Jenny Dies as we are a season behind in Australia that has torn it for me..

I have loved this show since I was "turned on" to it in the second season. While Kate being killed off was a shock, it brought Ziva, so that was okay. I don't think they have jumped yet, but if the reassignments are real and not just a temporary twist while we get rid of Leon, it will have jumped and I am not sure I will keep watching. Would be a shame!!!

i love this show a lot but i officially hate the writers. do they really have to kill of main characters that fans have learned to love. i hated when they killed of kate's character in an awful kind of death and now jenny. they could have written a plot that didnt require killing off the character and now the gibbs' team might be reassigned..gosh that would be really bad. i really loved kate and jenny and its sad that the writers had to kill their characters i just hope the remaining characters will be back in season 6 and in one team: gibbs' team. if not i wont watch this show anymore!!!

I think they just buried the show with that season finale. I really liked the cast of this show and their apparent chemistry. One of the few shows I deemed worthy of watching and tried never to miss.
I had to watch it again on the web to see if what I saw the first time was real. Whoever calls the shots on this should have been one of the victims in that desert cafe.

This show has never jumped! Great characters and great stories! I, for one, am looking forward to next season, watching Gibbs glare at his new team and seeing how long it takes for the new director to come to his senses and bring the old team back!

Jumped for me at the season finale. Did CBS hire the writers from "Third Watch" or something? They pulled a "Third Watch" - Lauren Holly's character was terminally ill, so they had her die in a shoot out because she was going to die anyway! Yes, that was comforting to know her character had a painful, debilitating "unknown" disease, and she was going to die anyway, so that made it "okay" to kill her character off. Nice! Wow it just sucked.

Have purchased downloads for 2 years and purchased first 4 seasons on DVD. No more $ from me. Bad decision by the writers.

once they resort to putting the female cast members in bikinis it is over the shark. It was a real shame that Lauren Holly did not get her turn before she was killed off.....The wriring better turn around REAL quick....

Last night's episode - glad to see Jenny go, she never added anything to the show. The reassignment of everybody was lame - it was done on "House" & the original "CSI" & added nothing to either show. I guess they'll spend a few shows next year straightening it all out but I just lost interest.

If the three agents are indeed reassigned, that will make the show jump the shark for me! House did it last season, and it was no good.

I didn't mind the director's exit, and I'm happy the flashbacks are fading out.

However, I have had a really HARD time understanding the show this season. Why would Ziva be so upset about killing someone? Her whole character is created around her being some sort of moussad killer. And why did Tim adopt a dog who attacked him? Not to mention that I've had a hard time following the storylines.

Maybe next season things will get more streamlined. I love this show and just want it to remain truthful to itself!!

Opinions about lasy nights finale? I found it both heartwarming and underwhelming. It was no surprise that Jenny died. I did like all the touches of the ways the team cares about each other. Jethro was a little too tough, cutting off everyone's grief with his get back to work barks. It would have been better for him to have a Ducky or Abbie moment that was more than a glance or a hug.
So did he and Jennie kill the frog? or is this the start of the mystery for next season. Tho I enjoy the arc story for the season the strentgh of this show is the clash of agencies in getting to the truth. Please more heedless, souless CIA, FBI, Homeland Security storylines. Most Americans feel beat up on by government cops, NCIS is in a great position to be the Avenging Angel as few people had heard of them before this show. We can still hope some Govt' cops still wear white hats so to speak(and of course are willing to break the rules in the cause of good).

This show is starting to suck big time. What is going on? I used to think there was chemistry with the characters, but all of a sudden, it just doesn't make any sense. I guess the part I really dislike the most - using major character deaths at the end of each season to get people to tune in. Why can't they end the season with all characters remaining alive? Must be they are also aware of the shark-jumping that seems to be epidemic on this show now! Too damn bad, too!

This show will really jump the shark if they kill off Ziva or any other main character & put in that germ phobia annoying Nikki Jardin. This show will go down.It was bad enough when they killed off Kate.But there's no way that Nikki will ever be a likable chaacter.
