I still miss Ms. Seifert, TV's loveliest financial reporter, but her reported reason for leaving (to be a full-time wife and mother) complements her beauty and makes me respect her as well. My father thought Linda O'Bryon pretty, but to me Cassie was Juliet to Linda's Rosaline. Without invading her privacy, can anyone give any biographical details?
Susie Gharib does a great job at the desk, is no nonsense and quite professional.
She is also stunningly attractive and earns two wows. Wow. WOW.
Yeah...like that.

My favorite part of the show is when Paul Kangas pumps the guest analyst for stock picks. Since the brokerage scandals of the last few years they have been saying whether or not they own the stocks they tout. These guys know that any positive mention will boost the stock price. They can barely keep a straight face as they say yes. They know that somehow this makes them seem honest. The best of these guys are barely above the crook level. These are the same slimeballs that that wrecked retirement for thousands and yet got richer and richer themselves.
Unless we change monetary systems, how can this show jump? This is a terrific show for the small individual investor with lots of clear, concise information without a mutual fund pitchman or "investment celebrity" that gives out infomercial advice for his fund product. An excellent source for investing news. I love Paul and that witty "Good Buys" (get it?) signoff. As for Susie Gharib, she is a hot little asset! That market sector has legs! Hows 'bout a Nightly Nude Business Report"? BOOYAH!
Paul's (my brother calls him "The Old Guy") looks get a free pass when evaluating this program, but the women get the once over. It's not fair. Your ability to understand and report what goes on in the business world should suffice. That is true no matter which gender you are.
While I enjoy the lively movement of Paul Kangas' jowls as he reports (they do seem to have lives of their own), it is no substitute, aesthetically speaking, for the lovely Cassie Seifert.
I must take umbrage to your reference to Susie Gharib as an "old bat." First of all, she's not old. And, in my humble opinion, she is not only as competent as Cassie Seifert, which you acknowledge, but DISTINCTIVELY PRETTIER, and MORE APPEALING. If I had to make a "top ten" list of women I'd be proud to bring home to mom as well as show off to the guys, Susie would make the list.
Paul Kangas is a national treasure. Cassie Seifert was an important part of the show, but far from indispensable. Susie Gharib has been a more than adequate replacement. This is the best business show out there for the lay investor - a concise 30 minutes of the day's IMPORTANT business news, the same news that can take hours to get sifting through the talking heads and preening egos on CNBC. Only complaint: There is a glaring lack of depth on the anchor desk, and it shows when either Paul or Susie are off the air. But this reflects the show's philosophy that Wall Street is the star.
