When Oscar gets hired by KITTEN magazine as a writer and meets his three new assistants - two gorgeous models and a stern older bookworm.

When Murray the cop brought over a bunch of roller derby girls and tries to set them up with Felix and Oscar.
FELIX - "All right, I'll do it. But I don't have to be with the plain looking one."
OSCAR - "What plain looking one? Murray's the prettist one out there."

FELIX - "I don't"
OSCAR - "Yeah - You don't have any fun, either"

Telly I have been watching it too, but I am actually looking forward to when they get to the live audience seasons; it seems like they have been in season 1 forever. How long do you think until they show the password episode?
By the way an example of a show that in my opinion is better than the movie. Love jack Lemmon but Tony Randall IS Felix. I've also never been a big Walter Matthau fan (ducks head) so I much prefer Jack Klugman.

They just started showing this again in the NY area, and the episodes are hacked to bits. Great show; it's a lot like the early "Seinfeld" episodes where it's not non-stop jokes. There's a lot of set-up involved. Except it's 20 years earlier.
The best part of the midget episode is when the whole family posed for the picture and Felix said, "Ok, everybody say 'Midget'"
Anybody remember the episode when Felix was taking a formal photo of a family of midgets, and Oscar came in? Felix had him drop a pen or something then had to lean down and pick it up, all so he wouldn't be too much taller than the father, whose hand he then shook on the way up. Perfect formation for Felix and Oscar.
"... and there was one cloud that looked liked a chicken salad sandwich." What a great show -- one of the best. You could do lines all day. "My friend Oscar -- he looks like Yul Brynner. I mean his comb looks like Yul Brynner." "I just don't think that fat birds of a feather should all flock together." "The password is: ridiculous." Watched them all as a kid when they first aired and later as reruns. A true classic comedy!
"They got Skylar", "I just splattered your patella, you'll never walk agan mugger", "His comb looks like Yul Brenner", "Staubach is scrambling, scrambling with the dexterity of a lizard", "I'm not over-reacting and if you say that again I'm gonna bash your skull in", "Five dollars for socks", "The local Indians subsisted on nuts and berries. Yeah, that's why you don't see a lot of local Indians around here", "Albert had no peers, he was a giant among birds and they resented him for it!"
Season 1 was a snore, but I did like the apartment set. Once the added the audience, it came alive and was a great show until the end.
The Pigeon sisters, poster Joe, were dropped considerably before the end of season one. Oscar was with Dr. Nancy Cunningham before season one ended and exploring his relationship with her (I don't recall the poker playing buddies, except for Murray, being in any first season eps with Nancy)! There was no need to destroy the neat-looking first season apartment for the inferior obviously studio based second season-on one except for Tony Randall's big hatred of laugh track. maybe he really would have walked before season two began shooting if they didn't change over to live audience.
