Thank goodness Jodie Foster's career got way over this mistake.

This show was a disaster from Day One,mostly due to Jodie Foster's terrible acting, as well as bad writing and direction.Ms. Foster didn't let this turkey stand in her way-she not only improved her acting considerably(upping her number of facial expressions from two to six in the process!),but went on to win TWO Oscars!

Not too many postings here. Hmmm, anyway another comment here might be " Also of not that the two actors who portrayed "Moses" in the film and in the series also were featured as brothers Rodney and Norman Harrington in the series Peyton Place. I am, of course referring to Ryan O'Neal and Chris Connaly (SP).

It's amazing that a child star who could become a successful adult star was taking the role of another child star who,as it turned out,couldn't become a successful adult star.
